Make it.
Make it.
The great Altmer wizard Fartus, so called by the younger mages because "he's an old fart", has devised what he believes is a method to divine what occurred at the moment of the dwemers' disappearance. It is the culmination of his latest project that he has been working on for the better part of a century. However, he requires several lost Dwemer artifacts to complete the device that he has been working on. The location of one of these Dwemer artifacts has been discovered - buried in an ancient Nordic ruin, presumably given to the early Nords as a gift. However, not only is the ruin heavily guarded by Dwemer machines and Draugr alike, but the Thalmor have caught wind of his efforts. It is revealed that Fartus's contact in the Summerset Isles was a Thalmor sympathizer/follower and passed on knowledge of the project to them.
So yes, you are Dovahkiin Jones, stealing ancient artifacts before the elven nazis do.
After making your way to the first artifact and nabbing it, the location of the second one is revealed by careful study of a cryptic note written in the Dwemer language. This continues in a chain until all of the artifacts needed are collected, including Keening. Then, Fartus finally uses the tools to activate his device...and appears to suddenly die. He is possessed by the ghost of Dagoth Ur, whose remnants of power were held in Keening. You have to kill him in a climatic boss battle.
Holy cow. That actually sounds pretty damn good. Man, you came up with this so fast and yet I couldn't come up with anything more than Fartus the Wizard for days.![]()
So I just watched this again, and I thought one of the comments was pretty good
Would it be possible to turn this into an actual shout (the "damnit" found at 1:09 in the video)
i wish you could get more pet option in the elder scrolls game i want a pet spider or a cat no not a khajiit
I love Dwarven armor.

I don't understand how anyone can wear Dwarven armor.
It weighs the most, it offers only a little more armor than Steel, and it looks ridiculous, especially the helmet, the gold paint doesn't help either, you essentially become a walking joke.
I will rate that post artistic though cause of the last two pictures.
I like how it looks. :colbert:
You also have a MLP avatar.
/lowblow
True, I do have terrible tastes when it comes to aesthetics. To each their own, I guess.
I like it because it reminds me of the Vivec guards in Morrowind
I can't even remember the name
Ordinator Armor
Probably the most bad-ass armor set in the whole series
I want my own set so badly just because of how it looks. I'm just going to put it on a mannequin, though.
I loved the Dwarven dungeon. Too bad the Falmers had to ruin it, but they ARE the only ones who could be there...
oblivions daedric armor is the coolest looking armor right next to ebony
Ew
Okay it's not awful but I just hate how all the armor in Oblivion is super cylindrical in shape - it doesn't really conform/fit to the body at all. It makes him look like a demonized tin can or man in a demon robot suit
All armor in Oblivion was hilariously bad.
The sooner we forget about the visual side of Oblivion the better.
Dwarven Armour looks a hell of a lot better then Orcish. Ponytail helmets ffs.
Indoril Armor
Also, it's not only the most badass armor set in the whole series, it is arguably the scariest. I say this only because when I was a kid of about 10 years old I played Morrowind, and the first time I went to Vivec I nearly shat myself when I saw them. It wasn't just the armor, it was the fact that one of the guard came up right behind me, stopped, then said "We're watching you...scum".
I recalled, and avoided Vivec like the plague until I was eventually forced to go there by the main quest.
Edited:
I personally liked Glass from Morrowind. It was on par with Indoril Armor for me.
Look at those shards of glass sticking out of your body. You look like a motherfucking cactus of death.
Edited:
That's the reason you couldn't get married in Morrowind. Physical intimacy is impossible in that armor and no self respecting adventurer would ever take that badass shit off.
The above quotes + Ordinators were actually really fucking hard to kill below level 15-20 + bad-ass intimidating armor = how town guards SHOULD be
That's why I really love Morrowind. The whole province is alien by our standards, so you can get really out there as far as design goes. Skyrim takes place in a Scandinavian setting, so the design tends to stick more tightly to fantasy/norse style.
Bring back mushroom houses and crab shell markets, Bethesda!
This is why the next game needs to take place in Hammerfell, everything would be somewhat alien, there's so much stuff in Arab mythology that could be used.
I mean really the only alternative is either a giant jungle/forest, a giant swamp, mini-Britain, or a giant litter box, it's all just as familiar (well maybe not Elsywer, but still).
Elsweyr would be an interesting choice.
"Though this would be hard to verify, it is known that there were hundreds of cities in the province. Some cities have been buried by the sands of the northwest desert; some have been overgrown by the southern jungles; others have been destroyed by men, mer and Khajiit."
Ancient ruins
"Recently, Elsweyr has been involved in much chaos, it seems only some Manes and the Cyrodilic and Septim Empires brought peace, but only for brief periods of time. Best described in A Pocket Guide to the Empire, "It may be fair to say Elsweyr is in crisis. And it may further be accurate to say that such chaos is home."
A chaotic world.
"The northern part of Elsweyr contains arid badlands; the southern part is a lush sub-tropical environment with many forests. Only a few cities have been established, and most of the settlements are small villages."
An arid zone in the north and a sub-trobical jungle in the south.
It definitely has the potential.

Plus I want to see a society dominated by the Khajiit. I've seen them as slaves, persecuted, and demeaned. That makes me want to see their land.
Elsweyr would be a cool place to visit too now that I think about it.
I remember the Elsweyr mod for Oblivion, shit was cash, added the whole of Elsweyr, neatly updated the map too!
Any must have mods right now? Haven't played for a while
I'm bugged. I'm at the main quest where you find the guy in riften, and you are supposed to escort him, but he didn't follow me before and now he have dissapeared..
If I knew shit about the CK I would make a quest that involves a second dragonborn but under Alduin's command.
Has the ENB creator fixed the nighteye bug yet?
I think it would be pretty cool to have a quest in which you seek out a second Dragonborn, either to kill him because he potentially has too much power (and you either don't want the competition or think he may turn villainous), or teach him to be a chill guy.
Plus he'd make a cool companion.
Having researched Elsweyr in a lot of depth (as well as Hammerfell) I've realised that the Oblivion mod that adds Elsweyr is really inaccurate in terms of geography, not even the shape of the province is correct according to official maps.
There's also no reference to the Arabic themed architecture and culture that the mod creator decided to use anywhere that I can find. In fact the climate and architecture styles seen in that mod is probably more suited to the Alik'r Desert and the settlements in Hammerfell
Here is the official map of Elsweyr:
Whereas the map seen in the Oblivion mod looks more like this:
Somebody incredibly talented has already made a Skyrim mod that takes place in an area of Elsweyr's southern jungle and frankly it looks amazing.

Rain-Bow
Need a dispenser here.
Someone make this for arrows.
He should've mentioned in the description that the place doesn't actually look as nice as it does in the screenshots because he took them with ENB.
Edited:
Rainbow Trail Arrows just not with that Nyan Cat shit, it's annoying.
That's the point.
looks amazing actually. Might have to get it.
I'd honestly like to see an elder scrolls game that introduces us to the other continent. we've seen a lot of tamriel and while there's still loads that could be fleshed out, the other continent sounds like it'd make for a really, really unique game world
I wish I could use that enb (or any enb config). But I literally get 1 fps (3 fps when I turn off DOF and ambient occlusion). I'll settle for realistic lighting.
