2500k still kicks is ass in almost everything though, it's definitely not a bad CPU for some things but could/will bottleneck in CPU intensive games due to poor ICS.

Maybe in games, I wouldn't say it kicks its ass in everything

I do have hopes that future apps, games, and OS's will take better advantage of the 8 cores.
2500k still has better overclocking headroom and doesn't take as much power, I just find it a strange that you clearly bought the computer with gaming in mind yet bought a processor that will bottleneck the 570s, looks like you should of done a bit more research.
Again, I do more than play games.
I knew that the 2500k was better for gaming.
But the 2500k is only very slightly worse than the 8120 when all cores utilized in only a few things which is pretty much removed when you consider the 2500ks overclocking prowess anyway.
Since my main rig is down/exploded/being replaced, here is my laptop in its current state.
help
:| Who cares, atleast it was cheaper.
Facepunch is turning me into an arse.
Repost for new thread why not:
And this one is in progress:

Black and Blue has to be one of my favourite PC builds.

Having an opinion doesn't make you an ass, insulting someone else for having an opinion that is different than yours makes you an ass, but you haven't done that so far.
Well, as far as I know you haven't.
Those statements aren't opinion though, they're fact.
They are opinion, because the 2500K does not beat the 8120 in every way shape and form.
Debate-able with facts.
In other words. Opinion.
But with facts and not opinion.
Both of you shutup this isnt CPU vs CPU thread.
Debateable.
Ooh, a shiny new thread
Better post my shiny new build:

I really like that heatsink, which is weird because yellow is usually a huge turnoff to me.
Anyone know where to get Bitfenix cases? Anyone I see with them is Canadian or European
If you go their website you can find a list of stores that sell them.
They also have their official store listed as well, so you might want to just order through them.
Its been down for weeks.
From this:
to this:
My old mainboard broke and I bought a new one, with new RAM and CPU.
At the same time I had to RMA my GTX 460.
I will fix the cable management when my new GPU arrives and I need a new CPU Cooler.
get an extender for the CPU power. Would help management much more
Or unscrew the right part of the motherboard, route the CPU power under the motherboard and screw the board back in place, should be easy with stand-offs.
Now sleeve every single wire on your PSU and you're a hero.
I never liked the single sleeving. Makes it looks much more of a mess

you managed to even make your post ricer
Ok, I don't know why I did that. Going to edit it now.
Dear god man, all that green.
to be honest, this is just ugly looking
and holy shit that aftermarket cpu heatsink looks terrifying
get something that doesn't look like a spaceship, not as annoying to work wth
Yeah, but what? I like the design on the outside. But its pretty ugly inside.
And, I don't really care that much how my CPU cooler looks like. But I can't say it's beautiful.
But, right now I can't put money to make my computer looking better. I'm going to buy Razer Tiamat 7.1.
For a moment i though he put an AMD card into that Nvidia edition case because of the red PCB
