Ugh, one thing I hate seeing all the time, when one person gets into a squad then locks it. The hell does that achieve? Having a full squad is nothing but a plus, more points more spawns and more buddies to back you up.

I hate when I'm running with a squad member about 6 feet away, then he jumps into a jeep and speeds away and I'm left running behind to get back to him.
I mean, why join a squad if you're not even going to help your squad mates?

Haha, to summarise on my first day of BF3.
I get a bloody bug which caused me to crash/black-screen upon changing maps.
God-awful teamwork.
Origin servers going down and they don't even know why yet.
I can't deny that everything else is great though, I just wish I could play it (with friends this time, I've learned my lesson haha)

What's up with you people? I just had one of the best matches in BF3, the servers are working for me and so is Origin.

So how the hell do you stop javelin missiles when your in a chopper/jet. The smoke in tanks seems to work but i don't think the ECM jammer has ever actually helped me, the javelin always goes for me anyway but i often see people avoid my javelins by using the ECM jammer. Do i need some other upgrade along with it or my gunner to deploy flares or something? really pissing me off because every time i jump in a chopper even if nothings locked on to me i still get owned by javelins

Sometimes I'll be piloting a jet or a chopper, and out of nowhere a missile is locked onto and headed for me, no warnings beforehand. I don't get it.

I absolutely love Team Deathmatch! Last night I had a great group of guys on the TDM server I was on. Even though we couldn't spawn on squads the teams worked together to take "Objectives", which really only were the choke points on the map. With 1,000 Tickets it was quite an interesting game. Everyone had a good time though; we laughed, we raged, but most importantly we had a fucking blast.
Also I discovered how much I love the 870MCS with Frag rounds. I'm more accurate with that than I am with a standard rifle. It's extremely useful in choke point maps where there's a cluster of enemies preventing my team/squad from getting through. I simply aim near where the enemies might be standing and fire. I'll sometimes get double, triple, and even quadruple kills because the explosion radius is fairly good. I never thought I would be playing mostly with a shotgun outfitted with an Acog.
