Did /v/'s server just crash?
Did /v/'s server just crash?
I think it did
Droppering yourself while wearing science goggles causes the reagents to stay on the goggles, abusing this, you can put say, space lube smoke onto the goggles and keep a dropper of sugar, then droppering yourself to cause everyone to slip near you.
As for the atmos guide, it's unlisted on the /tg/station wiki but can probably be found easily some way or another.
Dude, dude. That's fucking gold!
One of the most fun things to do in this game is supplying the Clown or Mime with weapons and various stuff to kill the rival (even better if you supply both and watch them go at it, and even better than that if you find someone else on the station that supplies the opponent of your "champion").
Hoping that the Clown doesn't go yapping about you handing him various bottles from Chemistry (even then though he is the Clown, so smash the window and say he broke in there himself and stole it and now tries to blame you, hopefully the hate for Clowns will make everyone believe you).
Also Veger, how's Centration doing?
I always give the Clown a bottle of Pierrot's Throat if I am the CMO. If I am traitor virologist / CMO, I give him a bottle full of unstable mutagen, lexorin, impedrezene and chloral and cryptobiolin labeled as "Pierrot's Throat virus sample"
Code:Primary Imperium Update Clowns. There is something magical about clowns, isn't there? I remember one clown that managed to steal the nuke authentication disk before the syndicates even made their presence known. He led them on a merry chase all throughout the station before anyone realized what was going on, and when they finally caught on, something magical happened. >Clown says, "Don't worry, Captain! I've got the disk!" >Captain says, "Oh god." >Clown says, "And I hid it in the one place they'll never find it!" >Captain says, "Oh. Well, that's good." >Clown says, "I hid it in the nuke!"
To those who were on the /vg/ server when I got that marauder as a traitor, you're welcome.
They never see it coming, either.
OMNIGHOST!
Okay so the /tg/ build of ss13 is now officially the worst build of the game ever. The fact that ghosts can now stack on top of each other to magically create a blob is bullshit. Either that or the admins are giant faggots.
Edited:
Yeah don't ever go onto the /vg/ server, the admins there do absolutely nothing.
It's been like that forever, also it's near impossible for enough ghosts to actually stack on eachother as nobody cooperates when people start screaming "OMNIGHOST!"
The fact that it's even there is bullshit to the extreme. Ghosts should have no impact that large on the current round, omnighost or not.
I was on there not ten minutes ago. The only admin there teleported me back to the station and healed me to full health after I got spaced for a shitty reason, then gibbed me after I requested it due to accidently floating off into space as a xeno and not being able to suicide.
I hate it when admins revive.
When on /tg/ I get killed from a griffin they make a random name and a random free job for me.
But that almost never happens, griffins usually get banned fast and the bodies cloned.
Edited:
it's /vg/ not /v/
Yeah, /vg/'s down.
They can be all buddybuddy and revive you and shit, but they do absolutely nothing to actually stop the griefers. One, rampant IC in OOC going on, nothing is done about it. If you get murdered for no reason by a blatant non-traitor? All you get is a "I'll look into it" and a "I've warned them", only for it to happen next round. Shit, I outright TOLD an admin I was gonna murder some dude for fucking up the particle accelerator, "..and I bet I'll only get a warning for it, huh?" "Yeah, probably.". So I murdered him and nothing was done.
It's a social experiment, they're funneling ranks of the most robust people into their playerbase to create an army of e-warriors.
I'm currently working on an ss13 traitor video synced to this song which i have not even been able to start because good good how many rounds do i have to play to be a traitor even changeling would be fine
Is anyone playing currently on /tg/?
It's been an epic round.
/vg/ server.
>Be chemist
>have retarded chemist companion who tries to inject me with a combination of drugs and LSD
>nope.avi
>I take the syringe and inject him with it (he doesn't object)
>soon enough starts punching me
>I stab him in the eye with a screwdriver
>He whines to security, eyewitnesses attest he started the fight.
>he gets brigged, round goes on.
>I get metroid cores, manage to extract cyanide and retrovirus.
>keep retrovirus in case he comes around
>He does
>He throws unharmful smoke grenade mixed with radium in Chemist office, green goo everywhere
>shit's on like donkey kong
>follow him out, trapped in the hallway because of fires, there's nowhere else to go but the library
>I arrive first, he enters second
>Immediately starts punching me
>stab him in the eye with the screwdriver again
>he falls down
>injecting retrovirus
>whining to sec again
>mfw warden arrests him
>I try to hide in library
Eventually the warden found me and robusted me. I would cry but then again I griffed equally.
Edited:
Biggest gripe is that the disease didn't spread.
Anyone got any good suggestions for that?
Retrovirus is finicky, it can spread on contact or in the air. The second kind is horrific, as it causes your DNA to go loopier than Cuban Pete in toxins. Contact spread only occurs when they physically touch someone, IE shaking them or possible by handling items they also touched.
Wonder if you can vent retrovirus in the atmos system or something.
I can re-pipe atmos to piss plasma in a minute flat, so if you could actually get the retrovirus into an air canister, sure, you could do it.
But, what does retrovirus do to you and your dna?
Bad things.
/tg/ station is fantastic, had lots of fun there, admins were great, funny moments and etc. Some bad stuff but that's Spacestation 13. Oh, and 80 players! Woo!
Pretty sure it's a blender in virus form.
The airborne virus code just checks nearby tiles
I came up with a method of cleaning up hull breaches on Europa Laboratory 65, a underwater SS13 branch I'm working on.
Any comments?
P.S those are placeholder ocean textures (the bright blue ones, I mean).
It's good enough until you can find an alternative method.
Water having some pressure would also be cool - eg, smashing through windows slowly (having them crack, then break over time etc depending on water pressure.)
I'm about 90% sure you cannot spread a virus through atmos.
Also guess what server i just noticed was back up.
Here have a hint, it starts with a "Y" and ends with a "ogscast".
You wouldn't believe the way that wizard fog casts?
Because I've never heard of that server.
Also you can spread a virus through atmos, I think by dumping infected blood into the vents it'll get spread to every other vent.
Hah, you forgot the S between og and cast.
get in there and robust some newbies
do your part man
I'm up for that, I haven't trained my griefing in quite a while.
If y'all heading in there we should griff them.
Who's in? I'm in.
It's completely empty, guys.
Let's go in there and griff each other!!
yes.
