Only record store day release that interested me was Blackboard Jungle Dub. But i'm not entirely sure it's out yet. And it costs 30. I could probably buy a fairly good quality original for that.

    Edited:

Also got some old Wiley white label, Eskimo/Split it down the middle

I think I'll pop in the store to see if they have anything really worth getting. Doubt I'll spend much, if I really wanted anything I would have ordered it already.

Good luck ever finding a copy of an original Clash and Electric Lady Land, lol.

And technically the Them Crooked Vultures album is original. I have plenty of original vinyl that I'm very proud of, like; an original of Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, Beach Boys import, Jefferson Airplane, Nirvana's "Sliver" single, and The Clash's "Combat Rock". I have a lot more, but I don't feel like getting into detail
    well ok

    Edited:

only exclusive i got was walk among us. picked up a bunch of records anyway for no good reason

What you chatting? I bet you could get original copies of both of them for a few quid off the nets.

Depending on what you call original; the nude cover of Electric Ladyland are pricey, both other versions of the album pressed in the same year can be had for not alot.

Jesus christ I didn't realise how big RSD actually is. I had to wait for 2 hours just to get into Crash records in Leeds, but I did get the O. Children single I was looking for. Last one, too (they only had 5).

Also did I ever tell you guys about how I found an original pressing of Atom Heart Mother under my parents' bed that had apparently been intended as a present for me like two years ago and had been completely forgotten about.

No, but I went to a lot of vintage stocks that were having a sale, so I took advantage. Also, three new albums to add to my finds.

    Led Zeppelin IV
    In Through The Out Door
    Coda

The only RSD exclusives I bought were Cursive's "Burst and Bloom", which is the first time it was available on vinyl, and M. Ward's "Primitive Girl" 7-inch. I'm selling the Cursive EP to my friend, since he's a big Cursive fan and missed out on RSD because of work.
I wanted to get the Mastodon splits, but I'll live.

I also picked up Jethro Tull's "Thick as a Brick" for $3, in almost perfect condition, and Godspeed's "F#A#infinity"

It was so much fun going to the different record stores and seeing all the people.
Although there was this one guy with really bad body odor that seemed to be following me wherever I went, so I kept smelling him.

Was pretty musical day for me. I went down to East Street in West Seattle and checked out what they had. There were only three things I wanted which were Death Grips, Flaming Lips and Animal Collective. No luck on the AnCo, but the other two were successful. I also got some other stuff.

I went to a few garage sales and bought some stereo equipment. New speakers, a receiver (later found out the right channel doesn't work) and this awesome as fuck AM-FM Receiver/Cassette Recorder/8-Track Player for a total of $15

I already had a few cassettes that I had no way of listening to, so this is perfect. Although I have to listen with headphones, but that makes it a more intimate kind of thing I guess.

Check out this sick as fuck tape that came with it...

Music wise I managed to get a hold of:

Death Grips - The Money Store
The Flaming Lips - Clouds Taste Metallic
    Boris - Heavy Rocks (2011)
The Flaming Lips - The Flaming Lips and Heady Fwends (ordered online to be sure I'd get it!)
    The Flamings Lips - TFL&SD&WD&HRWPDDSM
and Planning for Burial - Remember cassette which is limited to 25; oooOoOOOoooooh....

I'm hoping to be able to pre-order the Dweller on the Threshold record from Enemies List tonight, but that might happen tomorrow. Anyway, RSD was rad; how was your RSD?
