I'm torn between the CM048 and the CM040

CM048 Pros:
Wood Accessories
I can use .28 and still shoot 400 (I know, I know, about FPS. But since I like to run ambushes quite a bit, I don't like giving people time to react, also considering where I play everyone either blindfires or pop-shots.)
Can use batteries I already have

CM048 Cons:
Heard it has tons of wobbles (May not be true)
I prefer a folding stock
Costs more (On a budget)

CM040 Pros:
Folding Stock
More modern look if I were to make a VDV or such loadout
Cheaper

Cm040 Cons:
Need to buy new batteries
Will be shooting low 300's with .28
Would rather have wood than black plastic

048 rear trunnions produce a tiny bit of stock wobble (don't have an 048, but my 052 uses the 048 trunnion)

KJW 1911 mags are real bad. The lips are totally shit and the follower likes to break. Go for another brand, WE makes pretty decent mags.

Wait, are we talking about double stack or single stack? There's a difference between 1911 and Hi-capa, you know. IMO all WE 1911's are really good, and everyone that i know that's owned one agrees, but WHATEVER GUYS. WHATEVER.

We've gone over this at least 5 times right now, most people agree that WE 1911's are not very good, especially in terms of gas efficiency. This applies to just about all metal single stack 1911's.
However, if you take a WE mag and put it in a plastic 1911, it works just fine, as a TM is way more gas efficient.

You can't go wrong with like any hicapa, but WE is on the bottom of my list for them.

Believe it or not, I do know the difference between a 1911 and a Hicapa, I own 4.

A light slide, a good blowback unit, and lots of lube will make a tremendous difference. Those just all cost money and you have to worry about fitting them just right for the best performance.
