Someone gimme the lowdown on GBB pistols.

How much is, say, green gas? How often do you have to fill it up? Is it more cost effective to use an alternative and lube it up yourself? How much are mags usually, if I were to say, get the WE M9?

kjw m9 is beter

propane (coleman cans) is cheaper, $10-20 for an adapter, but you gotta add a few drops of silicone oil to it every 10 or so mags

Most cost effective way is propane + propane adapter (comes with silicone oil to lube the can)

Mags usually run anywhere from $20 - $90 depending on the make and model

I may be totally wrong but depending on how efficiently your mags fill a tank will last maybe ~150-200 fills.

green gas is a rip. propane is way more price efficient. 20$ for a adapter and a little bottle of silicon oil and a can that can last atleast 50-100 fills. 1 mag is about 30$ 1 fill lasts one mag

I owned plastic mids before, and when you squeeze them or put any pressure on them they would spray half the bbs out. Are these legitimate at all?

GG is much less available here in the States though.

Like $10 for an 8oz can, as opposed to $3 for a 16.5oz can of propane. Not to mention that they're literally the same gas except that GG has a different scent additive and is pre-mixed with silicone oil

I'm going by what I read on another forum so here:

Some Fields:

Sequoia (hate it. Full of little kids)
CQB City
Fort Ord
Area 48

Theres also a place in Fairfield and a place called mikeforce.

Area 48 looks good, on Google Maps it says it's about a one hour drive, which is a little more than the one I'll be going to in my state.

Can anyone confirm about being able to remove the orange tip legally? I've read a lot that they're only needed for selling and shipping, but once the owner has them they can remove them. I've read over the Massachusetts laws but there are only two sections I saw for air guns, which was about it being illegal to sell them to minors and being illegal to shoot it in public, across streets, etc. I'd prefer to know for sure whether it's legal or not in my state before I do it. Once my gun returns from Evike and it all works perfectly, I'd probably use this method so I can put the orange tip back on after games for transporting in the bag, plinking in the backyard, and so my parents don't go berserk because I doubt they'll believe me about it being OK to remove it. My last resort is to email the Chief of my local police department, and of course he'll probably recommend to keep it on so it's not mistaken for the real thing, but that's why I'd keep the orange tip when not at a field.

Mine was hit and miss. It shipped to me broken but KWA took care of it with ease and I had it back in a week.

Performance is fine, but it just kind of felt weird for me. Open bolt combined with its shape had me missing a lot. Its a fun gun for sure though.
