actually a standard CO2 pistol might not be strong enough, i would talk to notrabies about upgrading it to around 600 fps with steel shot.

Someone I know is preparing to sell off some pistols, among them a KWA Glock 17 w/ a Bladetech(?) holster. He wants $150.
Should I sell my clothes for this deal? I can live with the pain of skirmishing nekkid, without my elitist multisham armored noob coating.

I don't know, pistols are kinda overrated imho, unless you really need one.

The main thing is your pistol won't see much use on a outside field, CQB Yeah sure. If anything every CQB place i wish i just came with two pistols so much more fun and lighter to run around corners or sprint across the inside fields.

Pistols can be pretty much everything in CQB, they're really great to have. Its majorly dependent on your field size/layout though, so if you imagine your field and you think the small size of a pistol would be handy, odds are you're correct.
Now you can use a pistol outside, but you have to tune your whole playstyle to it like I do. Be prepared to sprint a lot and learn how to sneak. Outdoor pistoling is super fun if you know how to break through suppression well enough.
Hell, I used mine to great success in Pine Plains, one of the most hardcore milsim scenarios out there.

Actually it really depends on the field your playing. one of the sites we have has a big ass trench running down the middle (creek actually) and when you run through it, there's some spots that you have so much cover on the left and right, and its so twisty, pistol tiem.

I managed to get by without one...it's not necessary to get a second pistol, just nice.
Another question. I'm looking to get a new plate carrier (6094 type). Even though I don't have anything else in the pattern, I want this:

Currently, I use ABU pants and various shirts in camo colors (and the occasional odd black shirt or BDU jacket). Would this look absolutely hideous with it, and if so, what other color should I try instead?

if you use aor you'd pretty much have to do some tacticool seal loadout so uh no
ranger green or acu / abu for the ABUs ok

Go with the AKM for sure. It's a rebrand of one of the newer CYMA AKs which are really solid guns for the price.

So guys, I'm selling my AGM Scar and am going to buy a different primary, and I'm not sure if I should spend $60 more and get an ICS SIG 552, or spend ~$110 more and get the umarex GBB MP7.

Be prepared to spend a lot more than $110 for the MP7, gas mags are expensive, as is gas.
I'd take the MP7 fo' sho, but I play CQB a lot and dislike sigs.
Also, depending on your field's fps limits, you may need to buy the rocket valve to downgrade its fps, its only like $15 though.

The umarex mp7 is a kwa afaik so it's pretty good. If you pick that one though, buy the original brand, not the rebrand.
Also gas is cheap as fuck if you use propane. $4 for silicone and $4 for the propane. Mags..not so much. Like $40-50 a piece.

Okay, so on my TM mp5, I have some short midcap mags that feed flawlessly, but my long midcap mags (I think they might even be TM), they seem to somehow turn off the hop up. When firing from the long mags, there is no hop after just a few shots. If I switch to the short mags, the hop returns after a few shots.

the crye aor1 AC combat pants have the stretchy fabric around the knees, so if you meant that, then duh
what do you mean by *combat* pants? I haven't seen it used as a actual term, it always seems like a marketing thing.

they'ye HPFUs. they aren't marpat nor AOR1, its their own desert digital pattern.
some middle eastern country actually uses HPFUs in that pattern though

aor2 / nwu 3 is the woodland pattern used by the entire navy they're just now issuing, that is vertical. greener than marpat
aor1/nwu2 is the desert pattern which is just a different colored marpat that runs horizontally

Third, as in besides default BDU cuts and Crye combat sets and their respective clones, apparently BHI has their own "HPFU" whatever that is.
Another question. I've got a tan helmet, tan vest, ABU pants, tan gun. Should I get a combat shirt in tan, or would OD suffice? Which looks better? ect.
