I was thinking maybe something with multiple places to run. Maybe small open world areas, but still A to B goals, if-you-know-what-i-mean.
I always liked zombie maps where the terrain can be dangerous too. Like a wide area of rooftops, where you can push zombies off the roofs, but also plummet yourself.
Also one time I wanted to create a Tower Defense map where you could build either shooting towers (by using env_weaponfire) or physic traps like in Orcs Must Die.
The group finds themselves in a situation where they must venture through a zombie filled city to get a madman an order of delicious tacos before he will lower a drawbridge to aid their escape.
I'd play both of those maps. Someone needs to get to work.
I have often fantasized about actually building a sort of house inside of a giant taco map. Would require some custom textures which I am garbage at making.
i come in peace
(please don't hurt me)
Looks good, should turn on some anti aliasing though.
How the map started.
How it is now.
I hope those rooms aren't as difficult to navigate as they appear, with the objects in the way of the player's path, model hit-boxes can be really awkward.Player_clip is your friend in that respect.
Oh hi everybody.
It's Deadchicken back from the dead! Undeadchicken for all!
Added cliffs and rain.
Add "ingore surface normal" for those bushes.
Also if Alan Wake, were made for source, there would be ultimate cheat command: Mat_fullbright 1
Anyone been able to decompile Dear Esther maps?
I dont have portal 2 :(
I enjoyed the game a lot more when I turned foliage off, it felt more like the original and it didn't feel like I had these giant plant walls restricting my path.
Upcoming survival map
Not bad for a nub? :D
The outside still sucks though.
Better? I had to mess with the trusses to make it work though.
