No really... When he asked me to help him with blob particles I assumed it was for a joke or something! I was wrong, very very wrong...
Basically, be happy that he's showing you what it is beforehand.
Going to need blob particles covered in the next tip of the day
So, can anyone tell me how to make good walking and sitting animations - I spent 5 hours yesterday and never won.
If you make a walking sequence, is there anyway to save that as a preset?
How do I scale up the boss bots in SFM?
If someone finds a tutorial for walking in SFM, post it please.
I wouldn't recommend animating complex stuff in SFM.
You're going to save time by doing it in another program.
...None of which are essential. I agree that the lack of proper IK/FK blending is a bummer, but for the most part, you don't need the rest of these.
What can I animate in?
Hmm, I was thinking alittle, should we have the same policy for posters as with videos?
Like, we get to post our own threads for the posters, if we find that they deserve to be in one?
Either that, or maybe a sub-forum for videos AND posters? We got alot of threads for tutorials in this one alone and sometimes, things quickly dissapear.
What do you guys think?
You'd likely be better off using the exported sequence from SFM for basic stuff.
Ah - well if any of you are working on something that has walking in, please export that animation and share it with us? I will love you 5ever
Hmm I will have a look
does a model for SFM have to have bones for said things to be manipulatable, translation and rotation wise or can they just be their own models in the same file and everything will be a-okay.
Yeah I guess i'm retarded since I have not a clue about exporting anything to source. Bravo 10/10 posts above me. Guess i'm on my own to figure this out.
Yeah someone told me that in the open source film maker chat
make 2 with 180 fov
