Are those working cube/specular/whatevermaps?
Also I think a scale tool would be helpful for some cases.
I need to rebind "enter game mode" to anything other than f11, but I can't seem to find it on the keyboard shortcuts window, under the help tab, lil help?
Can anybody tell me how to add hats/miscs to TF2 characters? I like to use Source Filmmaker to make videos, but I can also see it being used to test out hat/misc combinations (because itemtest is broken and bugged)
Basically, lock a hat onto a character's head and use the zero tab to lock it onto the head.
If you're using a character with a pre-set hat, just right-click the model and change the body type until they're hatless.
And this is done.
How do most of you guys animate models? Pupeteering?
Does anybody know where to get the female scout model?
Finally! I have received the intelligence!
Hmm, I'm thinking about using the graph editor for animating too. The other methods just seem a little unrefined.
Once you get used to it, animating stuff in the motion editor isn't bad.
I definitely prefer the motion editor over the graph editor. Just seems cleaner.
What if you could make Source Filmmaker scan your movements if you are really bad with animation?
i got in but i'm on vacation and on a bad connection (and steam times out when it tries to start)
Randomly checked my games list and I have it.
First thing I've ever made with this tool.
I guess all those years of animating with Flash has paid off.
Does anyone know how to freeze particle effects in mid-air, like in this video?
Setting the particle system's time-scale to 0 or 0.0001 etc doesn't work, and I can't set the entire shot to time-scale 0 because I need the camera to animate...
Another Waxonator test video
Thanks for tuning in to the stream for a brief half-hourish guys, next time I'll hopefully attract more viewers, meaning I'll be more lively and talkative.
Just posted this, and with that, my first video in Source Filmmaker. Just a bit of a test at lighting and such...though I got lazy at the end. But it's only a test.
Today was a good day. I got invited to both the CS:GO and SFM betas.
The description also mentions "OrangeL89," who was the guy that taught the author of the video you posted how to freeze time in SFM. Try contacting either one of them if you can, see what they can tell ya.
If ya find out, post it here. I'm interested in how he did it as well.
My first muck about with SFM. Quick and Dirty but I like it:
