Also how do I install ACE and stuff. I got them from armarize and can't get them to work at all.

Just use the six updater autoconfig URL now instead, it does everything for you

There was also a guy with an [FP] clantag so I assume he's from here. And he was jammin' out with us!

I was just getting a newer version of CBA when I read the page and it said

* If you have Take on Helicopters (Standalone, or combined with ARMA2 or Operation Arrowhead),
you need to also install @CBA_TOH

I did not know Take on Helicopters could be combined with Arma 2? What extra stuff do you get?

so the mission shit actually fires objectives/triggers properly now so nabobalis doesn't have to act as a test dummy anymore

You get the entirety of ARMA 2: CO content usable in Take on Helicopters, including guns and missions
There's even ACE for it

Ok that was fun but we all died. Suddenly the missions does not work anymore and you guys play some other mission, couldn't get into it and acre started to go crazy and not work anymore. Hopefuly we get to play that mission profan did again. (dominik [fp] here)

I haven't played this before, but i think i have it (from GreenManGaming a while ago) what's the best way to play multiplayer? Just joining a random server or would that not go well?

In my opinion, the first mission was pretty fun when it was going on but the crooks and the hostage thing we played after by "public demand", the lack of teamwork and listening there was just so astounding I don't even know.

I should probably stop trying to organize the "facepunch rabble".
