Fixed an error where the program tries to unrar a file that isn't a rar file. (didn't think about this since the changelog file wasn't in before the recent patch)A friend got tired of manually downloading new versions all the time, so i made an automatic dayz updater that automatically downloads only new versions and puts them in the right directory. It also informs users how to start the mod properly.
I thought maybe someone else would deem it useful, so i'll post it here aswell.

Watch out, hacker is at the Northwest airfield on EU1, I got headshotted from a bush 1km out by an m14 going full auto. I watched him through binocs, and he shot someone then instantly turned towards me and killed me. Didn't get his name though.

It's hard enough for people getting into the game to shoot sprinters who can run twice to three times as fast as you can (in zig-zag patterns no less) but now you want to tell me that they have to shoot them in the head or start wasting an ungodly amount of ammo? I'd like to see how newer players respond to the Makarov change.

I think it's a good change actually, it does get more ammo too. It makes it more worth finding new secondary weapons.

I still have to alt+f4 every time I die since the you are dead screen wont let me access the escape menu.

I went out on a whim and helped a guy in Elektro, gave him a blood transfusion and got the fuck out of there.
Rocket - how will you be adding in sidequests? I think (non-random) notes scattered around like loot (constant, again, not random).
Dependent on the area too, so huge cities give out big rewards etc.

Helping people is like a side-mission.
I was on top of Elektro's hospital and I heard a thousand zombies yelling and pattering of footsteps below in the hospital. Turns out, a guy had alerted the whole town and asked for help inside the hospital.
So I came off the roof, let him pass, and blasted the zombies with my AKS. :D
He had a bandit skin, but he asked for help. If he hadn't asked for help and I saw him, I would've shot him and then felt bad afterwards.

If you see a bandit, ask in chat if they're friendly, if you get get response either run or kill him.
Generally ask everyone you see if you're friendly, works best for me.

Besides that, the best advice I can give you is only go into the big cities if you have to/have no gear and head north as soon as possible. Staying near the coast will generally trap you in a vicious cycle of PvP and frustration.

Damnit, just got shot by 2 idiots in cherno. I was on the fence before but PVP is annoying, I lived for 4-5 days before randomly getting taken out after saying I was friendly. People should be on an ask, then shoot basis.
