Guest can't die, and it lost its isometric charm to go for low poly models and simple interfaces

Pretty much a given that the interface will be simple for the 3DS, and the isometric part is just my opinion anyway

RCT3 also went for more "realistic" expansion packs, which was a little boring compared to dinosaur rollercoasters
The low-poly models were the only "meh" thing about the game, anyway.
And the expansions were hella-fun in my opinion. You're right, they could have been a bit more out-landish, though.
And the Circle-Pad Pro doesn't connect to the 3DS directly? That's... odd.

Idea a friend came up with: a Pokemon Box app. GENIUS

That feeling when you're first for a whole race, then blue shell'd at the end to get fourth. Then get second by one point.

Dillions rolling west (or whatever the game is called) music sounds kinda like a song from LoZ: Spirit Tracks. Does anyone else think it does?

You can get the Rhythm Thief demo in the eShop.

It's a bit too easy and simple. Rhythm Heaven was simple too but it required precision and focus.

I just finished playing it. I thought it was great. The graphics are lovely, the music reminded me of Cowboy Bebop which is never a bad thing, the gameplay was varied enough to be interesting each time. I didn't find it to simple either so perhaps that was just you.

Yeah, RCT3 looked really ugly to me. I mean RCT/RCT2 had simple graphics but it was just their style. RCT3 looked like they tried to make it pretty and just failed.
Also, probably just me, but I found having so many rides kind of frustrating since I had no idea what to build

You guys are lucky because the European release for rhythm thief is April 5th,
the North American release is all the way in July.

Really want to play it because it seems like the spiritual successor to the Space Channel 5 series.

The only good Kid Icarus video I like in Nintendo Video is the anime version.

Not a fan of CG movies anymore. Too overdone.

Just got Kid Icarus. Not sure if a glitch or a special deal but only payed $30, so shit, I'm happy. Will join you guys online as soon as I get some decent gear from singleplayer and get the hang of things.
My cards are Pit, Palutena, Medusa, Gaol, Ore Club, and Mik. I was hoping for Magus but eh. Still waiting for the ones I get from Club Nintendo.

Do you think the 3DS games should have their own thread or no? It seems like they don't get enough attention alone and they'd be better of discussed in here.

    Anyone agree?

Nah, we'll just have a ton of threads that won't even make it to page 2

This thread doesn't have much activity because a lot of third party games are still being made

Kid Icarus is amazing. The controls take a little getting used to, other than that go buy it now.
I got Three-Headed Hewdraw, Mik, Palutena, Insight Staff, Dark Pit, and Pit. Not sure if that's good or not...

Can't believe that the 3DS is already a year out. Anyway, the good titles are finally rolling and the eShop also has some quite good things on it by now.

Anyway, I have Kid Icarus now, which I can't put down anymore. The multiplayer and higher difficulties make it a lot of fun to replay. Also, everytime I replay a level, I actually can hear more of the dialog.

He used it way back in Kirby Air Ride, too. The achievements thing is identical in SSBB and AirRide.

I'm so torn on getting KI: Uprising or not. On the one hand, I've been hearing nothing but good things about it. On the other, I could never get into Metroid Prime Hunters because of the controls set-up, and even though there are customizable controls I have a fear this will also happen if I tried to get into it.
