Thanks for dumb rating, horsedrowner! How could I don't use hipsterish desktop background and ultra-mega-360-noscope-rainmeter? How can I have ponies on BG? Zomg zomg zomg, heretic!
A sense of design? They MUST be a hipster! Seriously, I have absolutely no hatred for people who watch MLP, but that desktop, regardless of wallpaper subject, looks like shit.

That's not even a well made desktop.

That's fucking Windows XP bliss with ponies crudely cut-pasted onto it.

with the pink one on a plain white background or some sort of pink rising sun type pattern it wouldn't look too bad. That doesn't solve the issue of subject matter but at least it would be more aesthetically pleasing.

It's not that. It's more that someone called him dumb which caused him to throw a hissy fit and claim he didn't care. It's funny.

But kudos on trying to sound like the ~cool kid~ that tells everyone to kill themselves. It makes you so ~cool and edgy~.

Remember my old ugly 4:3 monitor?

Well I got it back and decided to try it out as a second monitor (mainly to code and watch movies on).

The left one cycles various Half-Life wallpapers and the main cycles various patterns. (I'm a sucker for patterns)

How do you get them to cycle independently? When I set up a slideshow it applies to both of my monitors.

    Display Fusion.

    What about, the small monitor?
That was my main monitor for like 6 years, I recently got this 24" for my birthday (4 months ago). Combining them is even better.
Only bad thing is that I can't overclock anymore because amd's drivers are shit.

It just seems like you guys sort of command people to change their desktops. Rather than being reasonable about it.

but his desktop is indeed pure shit.
    design-wise is horrible.

If you changed the rainmeter font to match the system font I would applaud you on being one of the first people to use rainmeter effectively.

Thanks for the suggestion - I've just tried it and 'Calibri' doesn't look as good uppercase at that size - so I'll scale it down a bit. It'll take some time getting used to but thanks anyway.

At least ur desktop is condensed into folders.

And the folders are to big what makes it looks pretty small, ctrl+scroll down = better in my opinion

Thinking of themeing this Stark Industries desktop, anyone know of any rainmeter themes/icons that goes with it?

Alternatively, I'm thinking of a IKEA theme. Anything that will go with it?

Alright, fair enough. I don't mind a little discussion, although you could hardly call that a discussion.

I really like Soft7. I've used it forever, and I couldn't stand any other themes for more than a day.

I also removed the custom start orb I always used to have; I got kinda tired of it, and applying new ones is tiresome (the program everyone uses works but is annoying and breaks shit until you reboot, and doing it manually is not really an option). And besides, I don't really mind the default.

I'm only running the theme, not using the patched explorerframe. I think themes should look good without having to patch more system files than necessary.
