Played a game of Battleship with a friend today. He had right side, I had left. Range was 5 yards. He used his Sig P250, and I used a rented S&W M&P 9mm that I really liked...
It took us 195 rounds to end the game.
Then we went back to his place and watched Battleship while cleaning guns. Hilarious movie.

I went shooting for the first time since March, and I disappointed myself.
I shot 2 mags through my AKS-74 and couldn't hit a damn thing at 65 yards standing up. I don't know if I was just off my game or if the gun was acting up, but my grouping was something like 5 feet. I'm not sure I even hit paper for the first mag.
Then I couldn't hit anything with my Mosin either, after 25 rounds I managed to get my groups down to 5 inches from 10+ inches, but I still couldn't accurately hit a CD sized target from 65 yards.
That aside, I shot clay pigeons for the first time with my Mossberg 500, it was fun as shit.

Bad. Stay away. My mom bought one and it jammed every other shot at first. Then it jammed every shot. She came home from the range with cuts on her hands every time she shot.
Clays are so fun. I brought a box of like 90 the last time I went shooting and my friends and I spent more time the first day shooting clays than we did any of my other guns.

you can only run fmj rounds through them, she probably put hollow points in it
they're not great guns but they're definitely not the worst I've messed with. pretty ok for the price

For the AK I was using Silver Bear 60 grain FMJ. The Mosin was eating Winchester 180 grain FMJ.
The 10/22 shot really well, though it has a scope. I'm thinking maybe I just couldn't aim iron sights for shit.

I asked my mom, she told me that she was using regular ol' FMJs in her JA380. Personally I don't like the fact it had no hammer, the slide didn't lock back and the trigger was absolutely shitty. In my opinion.

Makes sense why I've never actually seen one where they sell them.
I would like to get a rifle sometime in the next year though, seeing how I'll be 18.
