What it is, foo?
A server with no rules, mods, nothin'.
People from all over the Internet has adventured (and is still adventuring): from Facepunch, /b/, /v/, Reddit, SA and even DeviantART.
We're all equally worthless on this server. Nobody cares if you are raped, your base is destroyed, your friends betray you and your shit is stolen.
Type "/rules" and "/guide" on the server, it'll give you a friendly insight.

Things we do not care about
• You found ungriefed land X blocks away from spawn
• You found trees X blocks away from spawn
• There are no trees in an X blocks radius from spawn
• You found a small, shitty but intact base X blocks close to spawn
• Yes there are huge craters and the spawn look like hell, we all know

The server is connected with a 100/100 mbit/s line. The server resides in Sweden.
It's already running an SSD, it's not why it's lagging.

Should the server be unstable you can thank the idiots who are exploiting and/or clogging the chunk generation queue. Flying doesn't lag the server, flying over ungenerated land does.

Attempts at towns or groups will not work in this thread. Don't try it. Yes, people have modded minecraft clients, that's how they fly. Don't bother building anything less than 20k from spawn and expect to last more than a couple days.

If you're going to +/+, I was the second person there. I don't know if anything has changed since I was last there, but there should be a wall for you to put a sign with your name on it there to show that you've been there.

I left a swastika made of diamond blocks and like 50 or so diamond blocks in a chest. They may of been taken already, but I don't think so.

If you're lucky you can make it from spawn to remnants trees on a single hunger bar. If you can find those then you can break their leaves for saplings and a tiny chance at apples. Apart from that, rotten flesh from zombies is your best bet until you get farther out.

My massive base is around 10k away.

I remember when before NoCheat I was flying and using speed through the nether, got to 250k. Built a really nice village farm, mob grinders, the whole package. When I was done with it, decided to take a break. When I came back, there was NoCheat and I was back at spawn. Requiescat in pace, my little village :(
But I've just done pretty much the same thing, again, but this time with a friend. We reached a pretty nice distance in the Nether, to what we're calling the Promised Land. It's a plains biome, with a forest in one side, snow mountains in the other, a big lake and a desert in the back. And there are 4 dungeons around us and an immense mineshaft. We're satisfied.

actually I guess ones not really a "castle", it's a smaller stone base which was apparently for FP.

Surviving on your own is easy, man up and use xray if you really need to. I got out of spawn and found a chest with food and an iron sword. Also to make it easier on food, walk out of spawn.
