I want to know how Skips got all the allies to come suddenly when all the enemies came out of the portal. It's not like they knew beforehand the guy was trying to open the gates of the underworld, so how did Skips prepare for that?

I'm not so excited about Thomas as a character. Everyone in the show so far has their own "thing": Muscle Man is a prankster, Benson is an angry boss, but what would Thomas DO besides exist? I hope the upcoming episode answers this.

I'm not quite sure how this new guy will fit in. I feel like we sorta had a nice tight knit group of characters and relationships. Adding some one to the main cast at this point strikes me as odd.
I hope I grow to like him.

Yeah. The show was pretty much designed to have each character be completely distinct in both their looks and personalities. This dude is just kind of unnecessary.

Tonight's episode was pretty good, just didn't like how they were constantly emphasizing Thomas' name, like "Hey, just so we're clear, his name is Thomas, and he's a new character."

Thomas is boring. He's just kind of there. He has less of a presence than Margaret or Eileen and he's supposed to be a main character.

I'm not even completely certain what it is he's supposed to do other than... get coffee, I guess. And provide dialogue.
Before, there was a whole mix of characters who had varying degrees and webs of like and dislike for eachother for tons of different reasons across the whole show. Then there's this new guy (who as far as we can tell, has absolutely no faults or downsides) who everyone loves and tries to protect.
I guess he might be a second prankster, but I'm really holding on for the third episode.
