Sabre, Stray & Halogenix have made some pretty cool tracks
This one is my fav (Can't find the full version on Youtube)
Loving this track!
yes catch 22 was my favourite release of 2011. rinsed that one alot in my mixes
Edited:
i saw skeptical 3 weeks back by the way. he fucking smashed it
What do you guys think of DJ Fresh's Hot Right Now?
I don't mind DJ Fresh. Very much on the pop side of things but it's OK.
I much prefer his old stuff.
Fresh has a couple of alright songs, but Hot Right Now is pretty awful, but I have to admit this is a tune
Edited:
And that's not bad aswell ^
What about these?
I listened to Hypercaine for about a week straight when it came out but I don't have much DJ Fresh myself, most of it's on compilations
Well, I was, you know, asking about that...
Seems :-D was the only one not to bitch at me about asking.
Not a very good example (went with dubstep drums to test it out, 10 minute job), but I've been working on some new bass and was wondering whether you think it'd work well in a neurofunk-esque song.
Sounds like an angry robotic dog
probably late but I am loving this song
Reminds me of Hear Me Scream
went to an absolutely sick dnb party in Belgium yesterday.

how was need for mirrors? some of their tunes are fuckin huge
Would love to see NZ Shapeshifter live
They were really good. They came after Dub Phizix, who somewhat dissapointed me. Solid mixing and track selection by need for mirrors!
Break - Not Enough
sweet liquid.
I'm probably late, but damn, this is good.
Also, it's been a while since I've been on this thread. Hi. :D

Holy shit you guys.
Hospital Records' gig at Brixton Academy in London was the hypest of the hypes, I have never been to a more gloriously intense D&B show in my life. I've been to a bunch of gigs and seen plenty of musicians at the Brixton O2 and this single night managed to make every single one of the seem tiny and insignificant in comparison to the sheer balls-to-the-wall awesomeness that was April 6th 2012. Fred V, Grafix & Carasel opened the first hour giving London Elektricity ample room to tear open the crowd's expectant near-virgin earholes. After that, High Contrast played through their entire newly released 'The Agony and The Ecstacy' album, complete with a set-long music video to accompany it, amongst which, 'The First Note is Silent' and 'Not Waving, But Drowning' were two of the most memorable moments of my life, 'First Note' because I've never felt so drawn into a tune and it's bassline before and 'Drowning' because combined with the intense, psychologically surreal visuals (you'd understand if you were there) on screen and the very intimate impersonality of the 2,000 strong crowd I felt so adrift and caught up that it was hard not to lose myself. D&B is fucking amazing. I was supremely impressed with their set which I think made Netsky's live performance even more memorable. They reminded me of Pendulum in their prime, except without the pretensiousness and with more drum & bass. They included quite a few tunes from their self-titled album, of which 'Secret Agent' was an absolute stunner. I'm bored of typing but suffice to say, Hospital Records put on literally the best night ever and I would gladly do it all over again.
Here's the live stream of the event, I'm in there somewhere.
I'll probably be going to a Hospitality once they come back round to Nottingham
You won't be disappointed mate, it's an amazing night.
The High Contast set starts at 2:57:00, it's well worth a watch.
Sick tunes came out this year, and that's fucking great!
Photek time.
Logistics new album is out today, it's okay but nothing ground breaking.
I know you have to move with the times and everything but I really prefer his older styles:
Reality Checkpoint is a great album fyi
I want to ask you guys something. Let's take this mix for example:
How is the part from 23:10 liquid? The "when you hear the sirens coming..."
It maybe fits in the mix, but is it really liquid? I think there should be another song instead of it. Thoughts?
Talking about decks. I made a new D&B mix :D
Feel free to download it people :)
