I don't think you have to unlock it. If you want some help getting it, the Rosary increases the chance of it spawning (from almost anywhere.)

I'm pretty sure radioactive spider is charm of the vampire. The names in the messages aren't always the name of the item, such as "something from the future".

Radioactive spider has slow effect and gives you a new "Arrows" picture, Charm of the Vampire gives you healing ability

Even worse. If you have more speed the meat boys will try to catch you and the bomb will come in a second without leaving a window to react.

Same with the dead bird, sometimes I hates those items just for that.

Not if you know what you're doing. I'd run to where i'd want to plant a bomb and then zoom back to the meatboys before they got close to it. Speed always helps.

Basically, use the guppy Exploit on Gish, and the third time you fight him he wont appear, only 2 flies.

Same thing happened with morbo 2. Except the fight just ended instantly and I got a new item after the cutscene.

Didn't Zelda also have 2 burrowing worm-like creatures as a dungeon boss?

The loading screen when you start up the game shows two Scolex right next to each other. Perhaps you where originally going to fight two?

I can imagine it once being the same as Larry Jr. But it was too hard so, rather than nerf Scolex, you only fight one instead.

All items that are on pedestals in the current room. It also rerolls shop, devil room, and error room items if you're in there (the prices will adjust according to the new items). It does not reroll tarot cards, pills, or the common drops (bombs, pennies, hearts, keys). You can still reroll things like the Dollar, blood bag, skatole, and quarter.

Boss items that are always there after completing a certain event will be rerolled, but will always become the same thing (cube of meat, little gish, little c.h.a.d., etc). Knowing this, if you somehow manage to get another pedestal item into that boss room and reroll, both of them will become that item.

Example: Beat one of the horsemen and get a cube of meat on the pedestal. Before claiming it, use a Judgement card to summon a beggar. The beggar's item will become a cube of meat when you reroll it and the cube of meat that's already in the room. Pretty sure that's the only real useful way to do that trick, Little C.H.A.D. and Little gish don't stack like the Cube of Meat does.

I dont think i'll ever unlock the D6 anyways. I've only beaten Mom's Heart once and it wasnt even with Isaac.
