You know you're in for a good run when you get Pony, Skatole, and Luck Foot on the first floor.

i got the dollar in the first arcade on basement 1 by playing the slots once
the book of revelations and the battery showed up on the first floor shop also
i got skeleton key on basement 2
a few hp ups along the way then i get devil room with brimstone on caves 1, sweep the rest of the game
then on womb 2 i get judgement, use it, and get a bible from the dude
holy shit that was the luckiest run ever

Went into an Arcade room in The Depths 2 as Cain.
Blood Donation Machine gave a blood bag on first try.
The guy in the middle gave Skatole after two tries.
The slot machine gave a dollar at the first try.

Skatole is a really common drop from the skull cup guy in the arcade.

Looking for a time waster. Is this game worth getting?

I'm really getting excited to see what is in store for the expansion; if I were to try to brainstorm with what is going to be made available compared to what is in-game now, I don't think I could come up with nearly as much stuff as we've been told is on its way.
I'm also curious what changes are going to be made for people who don't get the DLC, so they affect the game at its core - such as buffs/nerfs to existing bosses/items and miscellaneous bugfixes.

I wonder what would happen if you got Parasite and Fetus in a Jar. My bets are on them not stacking at all, but imagine how insane it would be to have bombs throwing out smaller bombs like a MIRV.

You're right, nothing happen if you got both, Fetus overdrives the parasite and the parasite dont do anything after you have fetus in a jar.

It would be unheard of if Edmund and Florian went through to explicitly code certain things to interact with one another when they currently do absolutely nothing.
There are a lot of combinations that have no interaction at all, at least with the Brimstone + Mom's Knife combo, both of those give damage multipliers on top of their functionality. There's gonna be a lot of combos once the expansion comes out.

Chocolate milk+ Fetus should give you chargeable bombs.
So you can fast-fire small bombs, and charge up a big one

I still wish they would add a quicksave feature.
So if you absolutely have to get off the computer for some reason you wont lose your whole run.
I had to go somewhere at Womb 1. :crying:

I'm scared if time spent in certain rooms (ie arcade) factor into that. I spend a lot of time putting pennies into the slot machines, beggars, and the shell game guy.Edmund posted:

First time around I couldn't beat Satan, even with all possible hearts.
Now I finally killed him with Eve, 7 hearts and Technology.

On a real shitty run with magdalena, I made a deal with the devil for a shovel and skipped my way into his boss room from depths 2, only stopping to recharge the shovel.
To my surprise I still defeated the fallen and almost took him to his stomping phase.
But nope.

The only problem I have with BoI. I love this game and "Questionable Religious Content" doesn't bother me but however my little brother (who love Super Meat Boy) can't enjoy this game.

Does it really matter? The game is on Pc so why do you need it on 3ds?
Though I do agree if people don't like it there is parental locks and stuff for that.
