Pick, Blaze, bopie and Ferosso are my favorite photographers in this thread.
Everyone else has a shared second place.

    Amazing page, guys.
Ferosso still posts? He was one of my biggest inspirations when I was starting out.

I'm a little tentative about posting these since they're not creative or artistic in the slightest, so please forgive me. Fire spinning is fun as hell though, and photographing it is a joy. I just wish I had a faster lens and a tripod, and probably a more powerful flash, I could have gotten some much better shots :(

Skin's very pasty so I'm guessing you did a looot of noise-reduction. That's fine and dandy and all but some noise would actually compliment that picture quite nicely.

But I like his pose and the bokeh on the fence, car light and wheels.

Pretty much this and the fact that i've had my phone stolen two times in the last year, all within my neighborhood.
And I don't have any sort of case for it yet.

I've only done it twice before,

Frisbee throw - Triptych 35mm by edwin.quast, on Flickr

Trishant, Ciara and myself Triptych by edwin.quast, on Flickr

All on film. I think doing them with a digital is kinda cheating for the candid stuff - just shows you've fired away and managed to stick 3 of the best of them together (although I have seen some really nice portrait style triptychs from dslr's).
When it's done on a manual winding camera, I think it really shows good technique in timing and focus.

And because of that, I'm really proud of the one of Rob throwing the frisbee. Most of my friends think it's just the same frame zoomed in, but it's actually three separate shots.

The only reason I can tell that is the background, but otherwise it's pretty much impossible for me to tell that you actually did that with 3 throws. That's awesome man.

Some more from Jersey. That same old cheap, bootleg 400 iso B&W film. So shitty, but really can produce some nice shots.

Same room in the hostel at Jersey Durrell Zoo. That last shot is me looking at a map of the island. I was genuinely planning out the walk that the first 3 photos were taken on.

finally used my nex for the actual travel purpose (hung it around my neck all day while skiing), only to realize that 24mm is too short of a focal length for capturing the mountains as i want them. and my sensor is dirty and i am without my swabs and air rocket ;(

tomorrow is a new day, and i have some great shots in mind.

This is brilliant, I think wider focal lengths are better for landscapes anyway. Interested to see what you plan to do with something longer!
