what kind of film does it take?
what kind of film does it take?
just 35mm its mostly a halina something or other that are generally worthless and my brother never makes any cash on them so we took apart the back and replaced the lens with a carl zeiss lens but we realised there would have been really bad light leaks so we put the old lens back on.
the viewfinder is from a minolta x-700 that the mirror was locked on works really well fairly accurate but zoomed in. we replaced the shutter and the wind on with cogs, then we added the front which is a viewfinder from a rolliflex tlr that once again the shutter was broken on. Messed around for a while till the flash worked,Taped it all up so there are no light leaks and thats what we have now

Been awhile since I posted anything, taken this weekend when I went to vegas
There is no reason for photos to be tilted like that.
i leave my photos titled the way they came off of the camera.
am i naughty?
I have untilted versions, they just seem to have useless space
also slight colorspace problems with the aerial images above, since i saved them as adobeRGB they turn out bad on macs
I think your photos would benefit from having some empty space, they're jam packed but have no real 'path' for the eye, it's smack bang in your face then it's over. With the colourspace issue, the aerial ones look fine on my [brag]rMBP.[/brag]
I've been there twice! ^^

This was taken with my old powershot a few years back. Wish I had my DSLR then.
honk
Third from the bottom is the only one I like, I'll be honest. The rest seem a bit bland, are cropped to far and what happened to that last one?!
Edited:
nothing really creative, just thought i'd show you some cakes me and the girlfriend made:)

nothing special really. background is way more interesting than the subject if anything. composition is a little off, and this is a personal gripe, but i hate seeing camera stuff in pictures that don't really have a camera theme otherwise. sorry if this is coming off as harsh, but it just looks like a snapshot to me, which makes it hard pay special attention to in a page of pictures. know what i mean?
crosspost from creative work thread.
this was pretty well received in class, i'll be printing it at 16x20
I like it. Not sure if I'm a huge fan of the subject, but it's definitely a theme/project that I'd love to see you pursue and see where it goes.
thanks man, i appreciate you spending time on giving me cc :)
no problem man, keep shooting
cutie pie
That bed looks so comfortable ughhh
i say we all head over to steves house and all have a fp meetup, in that bed
resize dude, way too big!!
Looks like an early 90's late 80's kid or the one guy from Hobo With A Shotgun
if that camera strap wasn't in it, i would try and re-edit it, to give it a more 90's feel.
it might save the shot a little.

Both on my D50.
Covered my school's homecoming game, used a 70-200 F/4 on my 550D. Really noisy pics so used noised reduction on Lightroom. CC Appreciated on composition, and post processing! Here's an example:

More Auroras!
They're kinda hard to photograph.

Listened to the song, and I enjoyed it so I looked at what else they had. Clicked this because it looked familiar, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Od1cUxO_IHo
Sure enough! Tis you! Like the song too, very chill.
I like these. Nice job.
Yes, as do I. Especially the second.
Shot a car show today, only had time to edit one but I think it came out pretty well. c&c would be greatly appreciated..
Shiny. Only thing for me is that the people in the background are distracting.
Also may want to crap a wee bit off the top. There's just too much space.
Yeah I definitely agree with that, I'm going to work on cloning them out. I left it cropped like this to fit the banner of the website who was hosting the event. I do like this crop though:
