Well I'm interested in dialogue. Could I have information?
well, so far, i got a few "fixed" sprites done, a few trainer designs, and a few ideas... honestly, i don't have enough creativity to do the whole thing on my own.. should i send you guys PM's with the designs i got so far?

(EDIT: And in a related note, Krokorok's left arm seems like it doesn't bend properly. You should probably look into fixing that, Treevis.)

No, they're not. Vector's an old port that I've had on my computer since 2008 -- can't recall who ported it (and is currently the ONLY Vector model in GMod -- I should really port the Generations one to replace it), and the Shadow is Link00y's port from Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games.

Here's the link to the fixed Krokorok, I believe.

    Krokorok (FIXED)

Would you mind putting this onto the first page below my first pack, RTB? It'd be mighty handy there.

    Krokorok (FIXED)
    This is almost opportune.

I took the time to check how Magnetry and Darkanine would fare on another computer, one of my last few steps before release. I shared a server with another computer that downloaded that one pack as well beforehand (Krokorok and such).

This is how they look on my own computer:

So yeah, as usual Krokorok's eyes are still unable to be seen. (I notice a "transparent" texture in Krokorok's materials, what exactly is that being used for?)

This is how they look on the other, less powerful computer:

Krokorok looks fine (pun not intended). I tried downgrading my visual settings to what the other computer had and it didn't change anything, and also tried re-downloading the pack. My computer still doesn't show the eyes.

What makes this interesting however is that Magnetry looks odd on the less powerful computer, with unusual black areas on the top screw. I'm uncertain whether the center circle is coming from the "shaft" of the screw, although I have heavy doubts. But that one notch on the side...?

So now I'm a little confused. I don't know if it has anything to do with 32-bit and 64-bit processors, or some graphic processor differences or whatever, but I can't tell what the issue is anymore. For now I have to hold off on the public release while I figure out what went wrong... (Darkanine, meanwhile, seems to appear fine.)

BTW Treevis, I think the spawn list has a typo, as Maractus is not able to be accessed.

I'll fix it sometime; making an svn for such a small pack ain't worth it, so until (if) I release another pack we'll see.

If you're still interested in working on Audino, I can send you some new SMDs to work with.

As for the "black spots", I have no flippin' idea what causes that. Since my computer hasn't ever had that problem, it could either be caused by the texture format (somehow), out-of-date graphics drivers, or... I dunno, this is weird.

So you've got SMDs of the models? I know there's some on the models resource but hearing about the problems and such, they seem less appealing now. Anywhoo, I wonder if I could have the SMD of Tyranitar, Serperior, Samurott, Emboar, Timburr, Pidove and Patrat? I know that sounds like a lot but A) I'd like to be able to practice making proper collision models like you linked a few pages back and B)see how they tend to be rigged, which would be a big help with manually rigging other models. They've mostly been chosen for different body types (avian, rounded, quadruped, serpent, short legged, ect)

That wouldn't be too much to ask, right?

Asking about Patrat, I was about to port that by myself. But I haven't got any PM from RTB about the porting process, so I don't think that I start porting right away...

Well in that case, I'll merely look at Patrat's rigging then. :) I don't wanna end up stealing spots from others, just wanted to see how the model works.

    i don't need the SMD's. i can convert the .dae's to SMD's.
also, just to make sure, you're not porting Torkoal or Zubat, are you? I'm just wondering because i made their SMD's long ago..

also, where do you get PBR models? i mean, more than the 3 Models Resource provides. i'd like to port Seviper..

Well, I plan on adding Tyranitar and Samurott for my next pack. As for Emboar, I just finished that one up a little while ago.

(I also noticed a major problem that I'll have to fix on Tepig while taking this pic...)

I suppose so. Wouldn't be right to have 3/3 of an evolutionary chain (Oshawott), but only 2/3 (Tepig) or 1/3 (Snivy) for the others in the final pack, so yeah I'll port Pignite, Servine and Serperior as well to go with Dewott and Samurott.

Ah, Emboar. Or as I've taken to calling it, Jinpachi Mishima.
...I hope it isn't just me.

Anyway, what with the odd things happening with graphics I'll have to see if it exists elsewhere too. After all, my own computer seems to be one of the few that can't see Krokorok's eyes, but on one that does (assuming it's part of the "standardized majority") Magnetry looks messed up, so that makes me a little concerned...

The weird is that you've got both the Krokorok and Magnetry issues on the same computer. Mine is between two, one or the other.

Just out of curiosity, how would it work if you swapped out the graphics cards between computers temporarily? Would the problems show up on the better computer, or would it still be the same? Because judging by the texture formats for the Magnetry and Darkanine you sent me, I don't think that could be the cause of the errors in-game (since they're both the same format).

well, with me, it seems to "choose" models. like, before you updated your unova pokemon, oshawott had a spot on his shell. it stays with anything posable in any way, but if its prop only, it'll go
