Am I the only one who found the watch Jessi gave Walt suspicious? I felt like it was a trick..or something in it is tracking him. I have no clue why, but the way it was presented gave off that vibe.

It will come into play later but Jesse isn't going to betray Walt so quickly. I found that scene off-setting because A: foreshadowing and B: out of everyone Jesse is the only one who cares about Walt and knows him fully anymore. The same man who previously wanted to kill him.
I don't think Walt was wearing the watch in the opening of Live Free or Die
His arms are completely covered with his coat. You can't really tell if he has it or not.
Edited:
More foreshadowing,
"The Watch that Jesse gives Walt is the Tag Heuer Monaco, a watch forever linked to and made famous by Steve McQueen in the movie Le Mans.
Steve McQueen... died of a rare, inoperable lung cancer."
Sorry but im going to steal the show with this amazing comic
Part of me wants to think "cool" the other wants to think people are going insane trying to find every little thing is foreshadowing something, I don't know about them going that far
That's how Gilligan writes his show, there is a lot of foreshadowing going on
A lot of people even think Skylar wrapping the floss tight around her finger is foreshadowing her hanging herself.
I only found out about the watch thing from a Reddit discussion and posted it here because it was relevant to his post and I thought people might find it interesting.
I doubt anyone is watching every episode in slow motion on a loop trying to find every detail.
I only noticed the Scarface foreshadowing because I've seen it a bunch of times.
Walt said that Hank, Marie, and Junior were watching Ratatouille, a movie about a RAT that COOKS.![]()
leaked script of episode 5, spoilers inside.
Yes, they also like to fuck with the viewer by making them think things are going to happen then going another direction with it, so who knows. They're probably making a bunch of connections that aren't there just to make things seem chaotic and almost unpredictable while you still get the sense something bad is definitely going to happen.
I don't know if you guys have seen this, but someone made an extended version of the title sequence.
I think it was very well made, though I wouldn't want to have to sit through it every episode.
Those would be better ending credits, in my opinion.
You know where I think it would work well? If AMC used it right before a season premiere. (Or at the end of the series finale.)
I would like to see that at the start of the season DVDs.
0/10 for Aaron Paul they use PA. It should be AR.
Come on. I think we all know at this point Walt's just using that as his justification to keep cooking.
Maybe Walt actually believes that's what he's still doing, to a degree anyways, but if Walt really wanted what's best for his family he would have stopped cooking a long time ago or at the very least he would have stopped after Gus died.
At this point he's in it because he's on top, and will just keep going up. He wants the power and money behind it all and at this point there's noone stopping him from doing so.
my guess: this season or the show ends in a fucking train wreck
walt jr dies, skyler dies, hank and marie die or something happens to them, then walt just goes out guns blazing with his M60.
That would be sick for the final episode.
I think when there's music in the opening it makes for an awkward transition. Last episode went from upbeat dubstep to the unsettling intro music
Until he crashes and burns spectacularly in the epic series finale :D
for some reason I want skyler to die because she annoys the hell out of me and shes such a bitch
Why do people keep calling her a bitch when she is clearly being presented as not a bitch
stop being silly
not reading this but why exactly do you think it's legitimate and where did you get it?
there's no legitimate reason to dislike Skyler anymore
it's a joke
Anyone notice Walt ignoring the loose thread on his hat?
lydia is going to get them fucked, calling it now. should've listening to mike, guys....no half measures.
I want her to like go to take a nap or something, and when she wakes up to leave, her car's gone and there's like a fucking Maserati in place of it.
I think that analysis is a bit simplistic and far.
Traditionally a serial killer is somebody who kills lots of people for the enjoyment. Walt has not killed a single person yet out of some strange need for gratification - everybody who has died by his hand has been a direct threat to his own life, or to the lives of people he cares about.
Sociopaths don't give a shit about people. They're unable to give a shit about people. Walt may be a manipulative cunt, but as mentioned above he's killed for people he cares about - he cares about his kids, for example, and arguably Jesse.
I can't really deny that he cooks meth or anything, though.
You mean to not to dislike her?
Because I can't stand her even more now than I did before.
She's majorly pissing me off with the way she acts, especially after her fuckup in season 4.
yeah her "fuckup" which was basically the only logical course of action to prevent the IRS from finding out their car wash launders fucking meth money.
i'm convinced some of you take power naps during this show or some shit
Edited:
what about Walt's fuck up in season 1 where he didn't accept a very nice job offer which would cover his cancer treatment and take care of his family after he dies
I agree with that but its not why I can't stand her.
I don't like her in the Season 5 (I was totally ok with her before) because she's constantly in the Walt's way, causing all sorts of problems, and what's even worse is that it took her 4 episodes to stop acting like a lunatic and open her mouth to say something.
If she just said to Walt "I don't want you to move back in, because of X." instead of metaphorically sulking in a corner, cutting her wrists, then I wouldn't have any reason to dislike her, even if Walt said "No, I want to move in and there's nothing you can do about it.".
That way there's would be a reason for me to like Walt less and dislike Skyler less.
So train heist next week?
Sounds fucking awesome.
Also, although Skylar is kind of annoying, basically because tension makes me uncomfortable, and I would gladly watch Walt and Jesse being friends and cooking meth for hours on end, she is completely justified. At the moment Walt is a complete psycho. He would scare me too.
Walt actually seems like a very cool guy to hang out with right about now in the show.
Hey, Walt, Can I have your Chrysler 300? I'll give you $50
it's like they only watch the parts with skylar so they can go bitch about it on the internet.
Oh, I'm just frugal about spoilers is all.
All Hail The Wub Wub
No not really, a sociopath can care about something or someone that is of use to them. Emotional attachment or empathy is not needed for a sociopath to want to defend or protect something. So yeah, calling Walt a socipath or sociopathic isn't far-fetched.
Are you serious? If anything her obstructiveness towards Walt is even more justified than ever before.
