Well, these are certainly movies which will somehow change you live. Its hard to explain, you should be really somehow be prepared to watch them all. But jump scares are a different kind of scary. A cheap scary that's only for people who lack the imagination to fuel their own nightmares.

But hell, Deadspace was better then it's sequel because it did have a few good atmospheric areas. Deadspace 2 has nothing in pacing. Hell, it starts out with you in a brightly lit room watching a guy get his brains sucked out. It's not a scary game, just overly visceral.

But it's definitely one of the most atmospheric games I've ever played.

And one of the few games that succeeded insanely good on the sounds.

This video was posted wayyyy back in the first thread, but I wanted to bring it up because I swear it is the most unsettling thing I have ever heard. Some of the "lyrics" are too vague to take the subtitler's word for it, but a lot of it is rather...well, unsettling.

After going back and listening to the original song, it's obvious that the song was partially backmasked and was intended to be a mindfuck, but that doesn't stop it from being an unpleasant mindfuck.
