Although the two art styles are quite different, it's always struck me how much the trees in the alpine maps of TF2 remind me of good ol' Whispering Rock.





I suppose there are other similarities, but that's probably the most striking to me. That, and they have that same spytech vibe in some parts.

I think it has to do with how hilly it is, and the trees seem to bend oddly in both as well. Or at least lean.

As someone who has a massive hard-on for TF2's alpine theme I can tell you that those are definitely not the same thing at all, there's like only one or two similarities if you really wanna push it
