Welcome, folks, to the newest incarnation of the "Do You Like the Song Posted Above" thread! You should know how this works by now.
...Which is why I've decided to spice things up a little, I think you should rate the above songs out of 10 as well as saying something about it.

It's definitely not what I expected when I saw an Opeth song.
Sadly, it sounds like a pretty basic power metal ballad, but atleast the keyboard solo is great.

It's not bad. If I were to imagine the higher quality version, I'd think it was pretty standard. The vocals are so-so.

Sorry, it sounds like every other post-hardcore band I can think of. I'm not too big in to the way it sounds; the guitars sound pretty uninspired and the vocals are not too much to shake at either , so it's not really the thing with me. 4/10

Anyways, I like the vocals, but I absolutely hate the bagpipes. They ruin the whole song. 4/10

5/10 sounded like they mashed the instruments in a continious loop and screamed various things i couldnt understand, had some parts i enjoyed though.

It was pretty good but it took forever to start the song. But anyhow, the song was decent, like 7/10 or higher. It liked the build up a lot.

It's a lot funnier if you actually go to hardcore shows and have heard that same speech fifty different times. Or if you've actually seen Wrong Answer, who are amazing live.

I don't know. I don't see anything original here. He sounds like any other singer to me and I can't really pick up any legitimate emotion in his voice, it seems very "scripted" to me. I don't know, I don't listen to this sort of music anyway so of course I won't love it.

7/10 I can't say that it was bad in any way, it's just not really my style.
She came in second place on NBC's The Voice last year(lost by less than 2%), and she had already been pretty well known on youtube. I'm a huge fan and have listened to her album nonstop since its release. Thought I should share it somewhere.

I really like the drums and the fade in the beginning. I think its cool how the music itself seems pretty upbeat but the first few lines are lyrically a bit darker. Her exaggerated inflection got a little on the annoying side as the song went on. I'm not that into female singers in general, though, so that hurt the score a bit. All in all, it kept my interest the whole time, but I'm simply not a fan of this genre.
