I've always wanted a husky/lab mix. Not the pure breeds. Those are damn expensive.

A variety, as with my the industry I am going into, it is necessary to do more than one thing, as doing one job only isn't enough pay. For example, during the late spring, summer and early fall I am going to be a river guide, for canoeing, kayaking and white water rafting, and during the winter I would like to get into dog sledding. And in-between all that I will be a waiter. And in-between i would like to do personal trips, not for work, with my dog.
So the temperatures I will be working in are all over the place, as I will be travelling a lot, say Australia for a year or two, then to greenland for dog sledding for a year. I will be all over the map.
So i need a athletic, loyal dog that can handle cold and warm weather. One that can be trained to be off a leash and stick around instead of running off. Plus be smart, I want to train it to go up to hot women and wooo them, then I come by playing the "hard-time-training-dog-I-saved-from-fire" routine

I had 3 cats, 2 hamsters, and a goldfish.
They all died :(
Two cats were put down because they had ulcers or something and couldn't eat and were throwing up everywhere.
The third cat was a fat asshole who we took in after finding him stray, he ended up running away a grand total of 2 houses up the street before being taken in by a different family we know and then died later on
My brother who is incredibly tall dropped one hamster by accident one night.
The other hamster died of old age after doing nothing but eating and shitting everywhere for ages
And i think i just forgot to feed the goldfish because i was about 5 years old and had no concept of 'pets need feeding'

Also we've got this critter. She tends to love taking over the guest bed
Better than me. I overfed my fishes when I was a kid. And when two of the four started swimming belly up I put the other two out on the sun for half an hour as a punishment for biting into them. (At that time I had no clue those other two died from gorging themselves on excessive amounts of fish food and thought the other two attacked them)
Yeah fishes and my five year old self did not make good companions.
