I never fully understood why some cars need to go that low and have that tiny amount of rubber. Like Christ, there's not even a 1cm gap underneath the car at that point. Guess it all ends up with opinions but god that's just ridiculous.

Drift cars don't tend to come anywhere near speed bumps as they are trailered, but even if they do, it will get over with a decent driver behind the wheel!

Reason for it being low is to lower the center of gravity of the car and alter the handling to suit them, big wheels/camber also help.

I love s13's but not that one.

The ride height I understand, but the car itself is a sickening shade of red and and the bodywork isn't doing much for me either.

I like my s13's stock, or with very subtle mods.

that s13 is fine, i mean, it's not the best i've seen, but far from the worst.
something tells me tho, it's either on bags, or the owner never drives it anywhere.
and drifters rarely tuck their wheels like that.
also too clean to be a drifter.

I would agree, but I dislike the bottom of the back. I wish they made it a bit lower, it would look better closer to the ground.

I suppose it looks good, but every time I look at that car I can't get past the fact that it's half made of plastic and still weighs as much as my Ford.

I know, but one would assume that any sportscar built with modern materials (and lots of cheap, light shit like plastic) would be at least a couple hundred pounds lighter than its 40 year old namesake, which is actually 200lbs lighter than the current car IIRC.

and the older car didn't need a million safety features and need to get 4-5 stars on every crash test otherwise it'd be impossible to insure. The owners of challengers don't give a fuck about safety but even i care about insurance premiums.
