I ended up putting three quotes in. One to Butler Patches, one to Custompatches.net and some other chuckefuck site.
Butler and Custom sent me quotes right away. Butler called me but the sales rep they assigned to my order couldn't speak English very well. The quote was $170 for 50 patches.
The quote from Custom was $180 for 100 patches, veclro backed and full embroidery. Butler offers to match the price, but Custom patches is based in New York (where I live) and the woman I got on the phone was able to understand me and I was able to understand her.
I already placed the order.
The finalized design is as follows:
When I get the samples I will post back here with them and see what you think. I went with full embroidery which costs extra, twill may look better but I wasn't sure so depending on how the sample turns out we'll make the FINAL decision. The patch will be 3 by 3 inches. The same size as a Gearwhore patch and it will obviously be Circular.
The initial investment is done entirely by me. I'll be selling these patches once I get them. Since I ordered 100 there won't be a "everyone gets one" rule you can order as many as you like.
It'll probably be $5 a patch or something like that. I don't plan to sell all of them, but if I only ordered 50 than everyone would only get one and I'd sell whatever I had extra at the end of the day meaning some people wouldn't get two if they wanted two etc.

Domestic (USA):
Each patch is $5 and shipping is covered in the cost of the patch.
International:
Each patch is $5 (USD) and you must provide $1 (USD) for shipping. For example, if you buy three patches the total cost is $16.

Paypal is the preferred method of payment. When you place an order you will need to put the following information in the "Comments/Note" field.
I'd prefer you do it in that format so it'll be easier and faster for me to print labels. Add your username below that for reference and the number of patches you wish to purchase.Note posted:
If you do not have a paypal you can mail me the money. I DO NOT ACCEPT CHECKS because if it bounces you're a dead motherfucker.
Provide the same information as listed above in the envelope.
INTERNATIONAL:
Paypal is the ONLY method to purchase patches International as I wouldn't know what to do with your commie money. Provide the same details as listed above, as far as I know that's all I'll need but I may have to communicate with you later because I've never shipped/mailed things International
PS: Canada counts as International.
If you have any questions you can use the email I listed or post them here and I'll do my best to work with you.
The first batch will probably be mailed out on Monday. Tuesday latest if some disaster does not permit me to send them Monday.

We don't have an IFAP logo. We have six different ones and we argued over which one was the best until we decided to go with the Facepunch logo.

We had like a ISAF style one, we had one with the Facepunch logo with words on it's border and like four or five other variations I can't remember so we did a vote and in the end we went with the plain logo.
Partly it was so if we didn't sell all of them we could sell them to GD or something and make our money back. I also like the idea of wearing this on my jacket and finding Facepunchers at the mall.

I'd prefer to get money in the mail, but Paypal is extremely easy to use for almost everyone. Just so no one gets the wrong idea I'm not asking for money until I get the patches in hand.
Also I do appreciate everyone posting about wanting to buy and how many. It helps me justify the investment to myself, and it gives me a rough tally of how many patches I'll sell. (I need to sell a certain amount to break even, that's all I'm worried about at this point.)

Yeah. I'm not positive if it'll be $6 for international yet or $5. I need to look into how much postage will cost before I make a decision but I don't have the patches yet so I'm not stressing it.
I got a call from the place. It's going to be 100% embroidery and the total with shipping and all is $210. Since the image is finalized they're going straight to pre-production.
Expect a patch sample by next week.

It can't cost much to ship a small letter overseas? Like, almost paper thin and without any noticeable weight..
Anyways, even if you're selling them for $5 overseas, I'll pay $12 for two, trowing in that extra $1 for each for shipping :)
