Here's the WIP intro map "Technical Difficulties" for my mod (SPOILERS)
So, you're one of the test subjects locked away in long-term storage?

Which reminds me, why did Aperture have a vault filled with people in the first place? Were they volunteers? Another one of Cave's crazy schemes? Normal test subjects moved to extended relaxation from their hotel rooms-on-wheels?

EDIT: I don't guess it matters, since GLaDOS killed all of them within a week of their discovery in the Co-Op campaign.

From what I gather, Aperture had the Relaxation Annex built for the same purpose the hotel rooms in the Relaxation Center. Once the Center was complete, they moved the test subjects stored in the Annex to the newer facility. The humans then took all their remaining employees and hid them in the Annex to save them from GLaDOS. Didn't work out so well.

We don't really know if thats all true, Glados has been known to be kind of a lying cunt. She could of just said they were all dead because she'd prefer to make Atlas and P-Body go fight whoever was controlling the facility instead of wasting the humans lives, on testing courses she won't have an orgasm over.

I particularly like how you can hear    Wheatley having his little rant and yelling he's not a moron.

Gives it that "Oh, so this is happening when that was happening, cool" feeling.

also brb giving up mapping as that has seriously blown my socks off, and here's me wanting to do an old-aperture science style map pack thing, and, well, pfft.

Anyone remember filtering out alpha channels from images or finding hidden links in game files way before Valve intended them to be found only to watch someone swap out all the Aperture web images for potatoes. I still remember staying up late one night trying to find a mosaic bench somewhere near Seattle, trying to figure what the heck they were trying to tell us.

I could go for another ARG, it was fun.

Oh shit. Found a single original NECA Portal Gun tucked away on a Japanese import site for close to the original price. It's going to have to come halfway across the world to get to me, but it's better than eBay!

So now that I'm ending up with three guns, who wants one of my P-Body guns?

They didn't take your old one in exchange? Wow, that's some nice customer service.

It was broken, usually they take broken ones and refurbish but being limited edition they couldn't so they let me keep it. Plus the box it came in was pretty huge.

Walked past gametraders today and saw they had the p-body portal gun on pre-order for $200. Brought it on a whim, now I'm kind of excited for it.

Anyone else notice on sixenses main page the in motion dlc for ps3 says 20 new maps when our motion pack only had 15 (16 if you count the e3 showcase demo that got left in files, but wont be counted for obvious reasons). A link to the page: Link

P2IM features 20 new levels that progress in difficulty from tutorial to advanced levels.
Wonder what the new 5 levels might be.

Oh hey, i didn't show you guys this, did i? http://baitstudios.com/did-you-reboo...Show/NoLight/#

On tumblr the amazing artist Did-you-reboot did an animated Portal AU thingy to No light, No light by Florence + The Machine.

    It was awesome.

    I recommend checking it out.

Be careful though, it uses HTML5, which some browsers don't support, and she found that Chrome, and believe it or not IE9 works best. Opera usually works fine too(doesn't for me though... unhappy face)
