Guys please help me, don't ignore me.
I'm trying to connect and both servers say 'Server unavailable'.
I tried restarting and running as admin, but it didn't help.
I'm playing through steam.
What to do?

Some of the attachments for the default pistol are crazy. They look awesome as well, the ones I currently have unlocked make my pistol look like the one from Halo.

I guess I'd like to try the game if it wasn't for that time limited weapons bullshit. Having to grind for weeks for 1 piece of equipment bores me to oblivion.

Rent guns until you get enough points to permanently buy weapon pieces.

From what I've heard in TotalBiscuit's review, one or two good deathmatches is all you need for a 1-day-rent on a weapon. Doesn't sound too shabby considering the loadouts are pretty balanced. After a while away from the game you might be able to do a couple of warmup matches and tadaa you got your fav loadout back.
Downloading now, might be fun. Not huge on Modern Military Shooters (TM) but since I avoid them, I hope this game's core gameplay will be something new and fresh for me even if it isn't in the big picture.

The gun is a steam starter(3 day), and every level you get 1 random tag (permanent) and 3 random items(3 day).
I think you get 89 for playing a match through, (less if you join in the middle I assume), 60 if you win, 40 if you lose and a combat bonus.

you can get a weapon in 1 match using the default assault rifle, it's really not all that bad.

I really enjoyed this game when I started playing it months ago. I'm glad it's available on Steam now, it could use a bigger playerbase.

It's fun to play, but how the fuck do you get permanent weapons? Everything is temporary.

when you buy stuff, there's a permanent option, pretty expensive ~4k for a barrel.

does anybody else have issues with this game running like utter crap?
I turned all the visuals off, stuck to my 1920x1080 resolution, it still lags at some points...
running i7-920, 12gb of ram and two 460 EVGA superclocked with 768mb vram(I believe this is where it fucks up)

If you mean in the menu then switch from Global to whisper.

no, I mean in the game, it usually runs fine, but on the bigger maps if I look in specific directions it lags, mostly happens on the oil platform and convention tho.

Enjoying this game so far, although buying gear permanently seems like a huuuuge grind. After a full day of gameplay I'm at about 4k GP (though I did spend 1.5k on rentals)
Got an awesome set of gear though, I went for maximum speed, dropped EVERYTHING for MORE SPEED.
Then in an emergency, I had to go toe to toe with some guy with my knife, and then it happened. I realised that I'd dumped so much of my guns power and accuracy for speed it was effectively worse than my knife.
And now I'm getting 2nd/1st place pretty much every round using nothing but mk2 knife and the occasional grenade.

If anyone is getting lag issues with anything after installing this, make sure that you:
1. go to your Task Maanger and make sure that PMB.exe is not running
2. If it is running, close it.
3. Disable it on startup through msconfig
I've never really quite understood WHY pando does what it does though. It's supposed to download things for your games, not eat your bandwidth...
So what IS it doing back there? Downloading the entire internet?

It's like 20 rounds to permanently get a gun part I dunno about you guys but that's not a lot of grinding compared to other games.

It's probably seeding downloads for other users, common thing done by F2P companies, turbine is the biggest offender.
Turbine singlehandedly uploaded 600 gig of data from my computer over a surprisingly short period of time.

I'd be inclined to agree with you but there's SHITLOADS of gun parts.
I mean sure it's cool that I can kit out my rifle for like super accuracy or some shit but it's kind of annoying that after 100~ hours of gameplay that's all I can customise.
