Real people got dumber.

Me and a friend both loaded up multiple Cleverbots and got them babbling to each other.
I closed all of mine at one point, and each of my friend's bots just kept right on replying to the thousand-odd messages that came before. Eventually I had to ask him to turn them off because the bots just would not stop talking.

They started speaking Spanish

The bot needs to parse /me's as *action* or <action> and feed it to cleverbot so using an emote doesn't cause the conversation to stall. Right now it doesn't read them in at all.
