    I have a Filco tenkeyless w/ browns.

My current laptop has the Apple-style 'flat keys'. I don't like them. They feel awkward to type on and play SC2 with.
I had no problems with my old laptop keyboard (which had the traditional laptop scissor-switch with curved indentations on the top), even though the WASD keys were so worn that they'd pop off every 15 minutes or so.

Same here. ThinkPad Edge E420. I liked the keyboard on my old Z60m much better.

Finally got around to taking some pictures of my room. Sorry about the quality, that's mostly due to a) my phone's camera and b) my very unsteady hand.

My typically unmade bed and windowsill covered in bottles and other crap:

My bag, coats, hats, sink, wardrobe and electronics stuff:

My shelf which, like all shelves, must be covered in all the useless stuff that can't fit on my windowsill:

And finally, the bit that matters, the place where I spend about 99% of my time in my room:

My current setup including a Saitek Eclipse II (soon to be upgraded to a mechanical keyboard of some description, a Logitech G500, LEGO, drink cans, tins of sweeties, Zippo lighter and fuel (I don't smoke, but Zippo lighters are awesome.) and pacman.

Thanks! It's my living room. I have a one bedroom apartment.

The desk is in my living room instead of my bedroom because of how frequently I have people over. We've been having "coding sessions" at my place every Thursday lately. My kitchen is full of nothing but pizza boxes.

That kinda scared me when I saw your pic. You have the EXACT same stove as me. I was like there's no way any one has the same oven / stove top as me. It's a F'ing 1970's heavy piece of clunk of a junk metal. It's funny how you can spend $750 a month for an apartment and get the most basic appliances.

So I did a little quick research and you go to DeVry which is in Washington State which is not possible considering I go to school in florida

edit: For some reason I thought you said DigiPen lol well in the case of DeVry I have no idea which one you go to...

Haha, I go to DeVry in Irving, Texas. I also live in Irving where the cost of living is pretty low.

Matte and I have winter-vacation, and have merged our rigs. What you see here is two computers, with a total of 12 CPU-cores. 6 screens, 9 speakers (including 2 sub-woofers), 1 slide-rule and 2 nerds.
(Oh, and since Matte's room is so small, he had to climb out of the window to get this shot )

I made this picture around five months ago for some friends (you should probably open it in a separate tab) :

Definitely still rocking an ancient silicon graphics workstation from 1998 (cost ~16 grand at the time) along with a battery back up that used to be used in the Navy's pioneer UAV's control station. Pretty much the only changes have been a new mic setup and taking the megalodon off my desk since I have a proper headset and DA-AD converter.

My desk really alternates from being super messy to super clean. Last week my desk and couch were filled with piles of school work. Also, I rarely throw stuff out -- every possible place in my room is used for storage. I'll post pictures of my whole bedroom when I re-organize stuff and finish making a bigger desk.

I mess around with some of the old applications, mostly Maya v2.1 and an old version of the adobe suite. It is neat seeing how little the interface has changed between that old Maya version and 2012. Also, my dad and I had a good laugh about how it was sold off as having superquiet fans, which are just about as quiet as our shop vac.

At one point I wanted to upgrade it to have the max of four cores, but I decided that it wasn't worth the ~$500 I would have had to spend on eBay. Really, I just like it for its history, it was one beast of a computer at the time.

I don't post in this section often, never really had much need to. But I would say this is my development environment/ sleeping place (both the bed I sat on to take the picture and the chair, love cushions).
Everything a growing student needs, some vidya, a set of speakers and the finishing touch for a Brit, a kettle sat just out of shot.

Bonus; the hell that is my cable "management"
