I got Norman Reedus, Jon Bernthal and Laurie Holden to sign my copy of Volume 7 at NYCC. Have fun at the panel.
Here the link to a season 3 spoiler regarding a character. No, no detailed scene description, no death etc, but I'll put it in spoiler tags (as the link itself spoils it) just in case someone wants to keep it a surprise.
yeah lol, also fuck yeah it confirms exactly what I've been talking about :V
I wonder if Daryl is cool in real life, I know a lot of country boys that look like him, mostly dicks...
I see it too.
Hot Dale on Daryl action action action.
One thing I couldn't get over was why none of the group picked up an automatic weapon (there were a few pretty good opportunities too). Sure its not efficient for individuals, but the sheer fire power that once could give out during a surprise horde (or people) would be incredible. I cant remember if they ever mentioned it.
Against individuals, it'd be just as good as a pistol. Afaik almost every rifle has a single-fire mode.
i don't get why they didn't drive off with some of the several armored jeeps with machine guns mounted ontop of them when they left the research facility / military base.
I dont wanna find lame excuses, but its very likely that an explosion like that would have attracted lots of zombies
Armoured vehicles tend to be finicky too, and even less opportunity for replacement parts than the RV.
Well from a production point of view, it would cost too much money to have an armored vehicle at their disposal.
So they don't really need a reason, they'll just not do things that seem like the right move because it would cost too much.
Didn't they have a tank at one point on the show (not the survivors, but there was a tank in the city)? Pretty sure that costs more than an armored car.
It wasn't a real tank though, Some parts were CGI and the rest was just a fake.
If they actually had an armored car they would have to drive it.
Uh, they were in the interior of it also. If they can fake the interior of a tank, and fake it doing shit, they can fake an armored car bro. And it's not like they can't just make a replica armor car or anything.
yeah, they faked that tank alright!
There's a difference between having that in the background of one scene, and actually having an armored car that they drive every episode and have on the farm and stuff.
That's the point im trying to make.
I thought it was real decommissioned Abrams?
Heard that somewhere, might've been here in the old thread.
If they had an armored car they wouldn't be able to have all those nice shots of Shane's SUV.
That's a nice SUV.
Being sarcastic because sometimes it's obvious they're advertising for that SUV
New spoilers out there, beware.
Link to 4chan thread. (404'd)
It has a picture too so don't click if you don't want anything spoiled. The picture itself is not that important but a post under spoils some major shit.
I remember seeing a behind the scenes with them driving the tank in place and they mentioned the barrel was cemented or disabled. But they also made a prop for filming the inside scene of the tank.
I'll look for the video. - I couldn't find the actual video of them unloading it onto the street but I did find this:
and I found it pretty funny.
The Movie Walking Dead? What? People like those shouldn't be allowed to see such awesome things.
if you're gonna give us a hint then do it in spoiler tags
T-Dog had better do something tonight. I have been impressed by him leaning against the wall and saying a line or two in these past episodes but I want more.
