Alright, so I probably went full retard in doing this, but I made myself a microATX rig for "gaming". When I say "gaming", I mean the toughest thing it'll probably run is Oblivion or STALKER. What's the best card that would fit in such a small case? I was looking at a 5750 maybe (low profile), but are there any better low profile cards? My budget is $100 at most, unfortunately. Max resolution I'll be gaming at is 1280x1024, because that's all my monitor can go up to.

I forgot to ask about your budget. How much can you spend?
Also you don't really need to get a low profile card, you can get a decent sized card to fit in there.

Well, my budget for the whole build is $350 (lol), and so far with all parts I've managed to spend...$254. Somehow. eBay and Amazon are wonderful places. I was looking at maybe a 5770 if I can find one for ~$90 (eBay?), because they seem to be pretty solid cards.
It also helps that I already have a monitor, speakers, mouse, and keyboard. I guess eventually I'll need an optical drive, but I probably have one of those kicking around somewhere as well.

The 6770 is essentially a 5770 from what I can remember.

Ah. Price is roughly the same for both, so I guess I'll just go with whichever one is slightly cheaper. Unless there's some budget powerhouse lurking around.

I have a 460 in the same case, with room to spare. Could probably fit a 580 no problem.

You can wait for the Newegg 6770 to come back in stock and have a brand new card or pay $10 and get a used card from whatever store is selling it.
OR look and ebay and hope you find a bargain.

And as for the hard drive bays...I'm putting this whole thing together next week, so I'll probably have to do some measurements before making my final decision.

Er, which? The measuring? Either way, the i3/Sandy Bridge series of processors has a graphics processor built into the die, so I can survive on that for the time being. It'll be better than using my laptop, which gets 30fps on TF2...windowed, 800x600, DX8.1, at Minecraft-esque settings.
To its credit though, my laptop's survived nearly four years of abuse. Good ol' HP.

And I meant build and measure to see what you can fit, but the GTX 460 above is a steal and Shadaez has one in the same case.

FYI the 460 isn't going into the HDD bay at all, a HDD would fit there, albeit somewhat messily.

Yeah, it's sitting at home waiting for me this weekend. Should I use it, or will it explode? The reviews make it seem like it's pretty decent, but I can easily return it for a full sized one.
Also I have all the parts already aside from the graphics card. I just don't want to be stuck with an underpowered card or the onboard graphics. I've suffered onboard graphics for waaaaaay too long.

Alright, so basically look to get a 5770/6770, depending on which is priced better? I can probably easily find a good deal on eBay.
Also thanks Shadaez and Makol for being helpful, this is my first build and I'm scared to ruin everything.
Especially when the whole thing basically represents an entire paycheck for me. lol $8 an hour cashiering job

I wouldn't trust that PSU. While not all of the people had problems, one had, a noone actually put any real load on the PSU. I'd get a new one, jus to be on the safe side.

The PSU market is like a minefield (quite literally) for inexperienced people. With GPUs, you can at least sort something out from the numbers given, but "500W" doesn't tell you any fucking thing on it's own.

Apparently it has (almost) the exact same internals as the 400W, and can't actually deliver 460W. It also has only one 6-pin PCI-E connector, which leaves you with a pretty bad upgrading path. This guy here is a bit better: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817194090
But still, you shouldn't skimp on a PSU.

Also, I ended up grabbing a GTS450 for $60, because I couldn't find a decently priced 5770/6770.
