I love this photo/building:

soooo many levels. i like it too
It's a chapel an hour away.
It is now open to public as a museum.
Still no 2D access, but I'm back to 3D
New cover image + publication.
On-chip manipulation of single microparticles, cells, and organisms using surface acoustic waves.
watermark due to publication, sorry :x
PNAS is a very unfortunate name.
i thought it was penis at first
Apparently, it stands for Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences
Well, I didn't choose the name :p
Another one
An acoustic-based tunable patterning technique by which microparticles or cells that can be arranged into reconfigurable patterns in microfluidic channels.
Dublin's awesome! I've only been down once though, even though I live in Northern Ireland.
Nice, at least I know someone here is not too far away, so I'm not moving into the middle of no where, haha~
Irish people in Dublin are friendly and lay-back.
My company has branches elsewhere, but I think I'll really enjoy Dublin =]
Did a pencil sketch of an angel.
Will ink it with photoshop tomorrow.
Can't color it, however, as I still have no tablet :(
Took a while to ink, but here it is:
It's a character design for my personal game dev project.
Game char design again.
Fat female demon:
gonna ink it soon.
Edited:
and she will lose weight, eventually...
its like a fat head with a skinny face.
yes the face is very delicate and ladylike but the body is fat and gross
I'm not sure about the result of your "inking", it's too vectory and lifeless for my taste
I kept her face delicate to foreshadow that she will look nice when she lose weight,
and the gross body goes with the first half of the storyline.
@MSD,
I will color the image and remove the lineart all together later.
and it is indeed a vector file xD
so that I can scale it without worrying about the resolution in the future.
Fair nuff
Seems a very laborious and un-painterly process though
well... I can't paint atm, that is why I'm doing it this way :(
Vector is the easiest way to tweak atm.
I can nudge each like easily like a breeze without erasing and redrawing or using liquify.
Even traditionally, I'd need a lot of transparent paper to adjust while keeping the paper clean.
Just inked her.
This is one of the most painful pieces, if not the most painful one, I've made...
Edited:
Well, no pain, no gain.
The fat demon lost some wight:
Edited:
she is the pride demon form.
inked
all the girls you draw look exactly the same whats up with that
It's intentional.
The two demons are the same character, different forms.
The angel is the mirror opposite.
Glad that you realized that actually xD
no i don't mean just them
i mean literally every woman you draw
I concur with Rusty, you suffer from the same-face syndrome. Do studies of different looking people and races as well as ages to get over it.
I'll do that for the next char.
Quick Asian study.
Japanese, Chinese, and Korean.
~ 5 min each pic.
They still look alike
Asians.
I think the whole side eyelash thing makes them all seem similar.
Well, I want to use the same style on each.
but yeah, I think the eyelashes are making them alike somehow.
Edited:
added middle easterns

it is beginning to be comical how every single face is STILL almost exactly identical to every single other
that whole style of faces you use is just so same facey no matter what. the 'no nose bridge', and 'line mouth' with 'semi-anime eyes'
all
nearly identical
You should give more variety in noses, face shapes and lips
added some quick details for nose and mouth.
Tweaked the eyes as well.

have a go at drawing something that isn't good looking young women
5-10 min each, no shading/lighting, just outlining.
