Thanks Chaplin
Awesome stuff man, Interesting seeing someone work in painter, I've tried it, but haven't gotten that far into it.
The eye on #2 looks a bit off, remember to flip your canvas often (not sure if that is possible in painter?) and zoom out a lot when painting. Another great tip I've heard to learn colors is just to step outside and paint whatever you see, although this might prove to be a difficult task if you do not own a tablet pc or anything like that. Anyways, all life studies are good, try to do them often.
Also, have you considered painting more loosely? I see you rely quite a lot on line art throughout your progress of making that painting. Maybe some loose stuff will help you sharpen up your brush structure in the paintings.
Overall this looks good, keep on working man.
Thanks for the comment, i do often flip my canvas, i did take a few breaks during that recording and inbetween the recording sessions while taking a break i flipped the canvas often and found my errors before starting up and recording again, but I guess i still somehow managed to miss how unlevel those eyes are in the second portrait, i'll get on fixing that soon. And also I will try to get some more color studies done for practice.
And I generally prefer using line work in the initial stages, its an easier way for me to ensure my proportions are working before i start laying in color and value. I'm not too sure how using loose brushwork would help sharpen up my brush structure though, could you elaborate on that?
Again thanks for the comment..

A few small updates from life drawing class.. Got an interesting pair of models, quite a challenge.. one was a 6"4 girl and the other was a 5"2 or something.
