Doesn't matter if you get it right, just don't get it wrong.
It almost hurts to sit with a laptop that barely runs portal2 on all low while seeing all this new hardware I can't afford.
Purchased an Asus 570 today..
so what cpu and shit did the GTX 680 run with?
It'd seem like that benchmark is bogus, but I actually want to see how performance increase with clockspeed on both cards. I've noticed a trend that tells that the 7970 gains more with each cycle than the GTX 680 does. It might be a dud, but I wouldn't be surprised if they over locked racked up pretty much the same score.
I could find the site for expreview. I guess we have to wait for another chinese site to do a review of that Zotac (since it's not available outside china) which hopefully shows the complete specs.
In the comments:
Dear Mr. Kwai, Yesterday we sent out a memo which inadvertently stated 2Ghz rather than the intended value 1.2Ghz for the overclocked GTX 680 speed. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. Sincerely, Zotac Engineering
cud be misinformation though (why start off with "Dear Mr. Kwai" if its from zotac) xD
I doubt that the cards would be able to go that high.
Can someone wise explain to me just why i get heavy screen tearing when I force a 60 FPS rate and 60 HZ v-sync.
What would i need to do to be able to limit power consumption, yet get synced frames? Set it to 65?
Wait- Might be better to put this in the Quick questions thread, even though it IS 680 related.
-rate me X's-
If you have V-Sync on and working you shouldn't be getting any tearing at all.
Actually tearing happens at any framerate if it's not synced.
It's just due to the time between frames below your refresh rate, you're likely not to see it. But frames can sit on screen, and suddenly another could appear since frames aren't consistent.
So anyone else with a 680 getting shit performance in Arkham City?
Seriously, I could run it better on my 6950. What's goin' on here?
Even with PhysX off it's choppy.
Hey, the GTX 690 has been announced!
Could someone make a thread? I'm not very good with threads...
