Early ganks, focusing on 1 target, CC, those can disable 5 carry team well, but only if done early. As I said, if every carry gets his core and they all manage to farm at least decently, enemy team has time until 40 or so minutes.
Then again, that's why we see so many gankers/nukers/ability based champions played in Tournaments. They reach their "core" potential much quicker, allowing them to decimate opponents aiming for late game if done well.
