I am really liking prophet, split push + farm like crazy. I even got a really got deny, four were wailing on the turret and I just ran up and autod once. 13/3/11 first game 9/1/10 second. Got a divine rapier the first game and 700 gold/min. Maybe I could main him?

Huskar, Axe and Lifestealer were deadly as well. But we were able to overcome them when defending.

What's wrong with rapier ? Ever tried to kill farmed Prophet solo. I remember one that had BKB, Shadow Blade, Sheepstick.
Even with team, somewhat tricky and if you get him killed,he will just buyback, scout for the guy carrying rapier, kill him and he's back in business.
Unless you decide to stash rapier in fountain. Then you are boring and he can still try and get it by sending in treants first, grabbing it and here it goes again.

I was 1v3 in a lane once.
Didn't matter, since I was dick-ass seer who gives no fucks and kills everybody.
Yesterday I played Furion, was kinda loosing the fights so I decided to backdoor like fuck.
Didn't go that well either, until I got my Assault Cuirass. AC just rapes towers if you got creeps with you.

I really wish there was some mechanic to cheer up the team. If you start losing it usually takes a great teamfight to get their spirits back up. I don't know, some /joke or something.
I bet Valve will add that later on, but we could use one even now.

i think helm is enough, and the ability to control neutral creeps is good, the wolf have a very nice aura,
imo, you could have bought a butterfly/mkb/daedalus... instead of 2 rapiers on drow
but then again im a newbie so i might be wrong

If you had read my post I bought them within the last minute of the game, I had full items and 13k gold. Wanted to do something with it. Buybacks woud have been useless because I had no towers.

Got killed over and over as weaver in one game because valve's fucking beta bugs - INVISIBLE MIRANA ARROWS FOR ME. And I was flamed because I was apparently "pretending because i am a bigfuckdumbcunt liar". All my fucking deaths went like this - farming a lane, bam 5 second stun from an arrow I COULDN'T even see due fucking projectile bugs. Not even restarting helped.

Is Enigma supposed to be a mid hero?
I got told to go mid as Enigma after I bought my jungling items and I was up against doombringer, who i killed once then died twice because of ganks.
I got 4 people in nearly of my ults though so that was redeeming :D

I've seen Enigma mid lane quite well in the competitive scene, didn't seem terrible since he gets a faster ulti and blink dagger if played well. Having his creeps for denying and harass is good, the stun is really strong as well.

enigma definitely isnt bad in lane, just because hes squishy doesnt mean hes a bad laner, and im not really sure how you can say hes mana hungry when you're only going to have a mana problem if youre using conversion to deny

nobody ignores fatal bonds and upheaval, theyre probably going word/stats/word/stats instead of word/bonds/word/bonds. pretty common to miss out on fatal bonds early game

he's bad as in, he works way better in the jungle, don't see why would you lane with him at all

he can deny creeps before they even get to the enemy in the same way as lich, he can put serious pressure on towers, he can make it impossible for the enemy to farm thanks to eidolons high base damage (they rip everything to shreds early game)

Possibly if you have someone else jungling and you wanted Eni for his black hole and pushing.
Mostly pub-related issue I guess, because pre-made team probably wouldn't get Eni if they had someone else jungling, unless Tri-lane, etc. Shaker and Tide would suffice and they lane easily.
Still, Eni mid might work. Who knows, quick tower push with eidolons ?

Yeah see, I did that, but it left doombringer to free farm, which he took advantage of and ended up crushing us late game.
Naturally I got blamed.
Oh well. Suppose it depends on the match up.

Well no shit. I realise that, and that's why I was asking if Enigma should mid against a doombringer.
I had a team calling for ganks because they were worse than me and I was torn between stopping a doombringer freefarm or teammates feeding anti mage.

Wow just had a huskar who only learned passive and ulti, nothing else, sniper on my team didn't get shrapnel either. Fuckmylife.
Why do I get thrown in with these guys :( I get people need to learn, but they're fucking oblivious and don't even take tips, they just show no motivation at all to atleast get better

No really sniper is already a bad pick, if you have the balls to play him in the first place, don't level sharpnel, you will deal a lot more damage which, ya know, is the point of sniper

Are you fucking retarded? Shrapnel is his best ability. AoE slow, damage, vision, low CD, spammable in teamfights, damages towers. None of his other abilities are as useful as Shrapnel, arguably even Assassinate.

Don't rate this dumb.
Sniper doesn't have neither capacity nor reason to abuse this spell.
Lane control ? Your range is insane, you can last hit and deny well beyond range of any stun. Quick level 4 of range means safe laning and no, Shrapnel won't save you from ganks, unless enemies never got boots and you have Boots of Travel.
Damage to towers ? You outrange towers. Yes, Shrapnel doesn't even require you to stay around, but unless you got orchid or some other manaregen, you are likely giving up Shrapnel in teamfight or Assasinate for that runner who is too far for anything else.
Area Denial ? Show me initiator/ganker who won't stand in Shrapnel if he can get a kill. Hell, show me support who got 0 regen and stood in Shrapnel long enough to be vulnerable.
Closing off escape ? If someone is close and slow enough for Shrapnel to help, some attack speed and passive ministun would do much better, though indeed, couple that with Shrapnel and you have a kill. Though escaping enemy would much rather avoid getting Assasinate in their ass than Shrapnel.
AoE in teamfights. True, that's what it is for. Slowing people in teamfight and slowly damaging them. No argument there.
Escaping. No. Shrapnel won't save you from gank or let you escape more easily. If anything, it will solidify your escape, nothing more. It's 30% slow, but range and cast time mean that any ganker/chase worth his salt will make it with a stun or slow on you. It's good for "burning the bridge", i.e. you escape to the high ground and shrapnel the access area, which will ensure people won't even come and chase you, but I dare say that Shadow Blade would work better in those terms.
Sniper is Auto-attack carry, Shrapnel is his icing/teamfight bonus/tower last-hit and addition to team's harder CC, not main tool.

and, if I wanted to have a good aoe damaging slow, I'd play pudge

if huskar life breaks or you get hooked/swapped youre fucked, its not meant to be a hard escape, its perfectly fine for putting distance between you and the enemy in chases
