wow learn to read it clearly says it's currently down. also minecraft only uses 40%~ and the garry's mod server barely used 10%

im pretty sure most plugins are updated, all the huge servers use tons of plugins.

That was the joke, the server only runs NoCheat (AFAIK, maybe some antispam thing and a MOTD thing too) which was probably one of the first plugins updated...

I don't think I've ever seen this many animals even in single player. Also this is all just around 1000 blocks from spawn.

It is a no rules pvp server. Flying was disabled due to it causing lag and making the world grow rapidly and technically if you want it to be true vanilla, you should not be able to use any third party mods.

I always did find it ironic that people complain about 2b2t not being vanilla enough while at the same time they're using X-ray, speed, and force-field hacks.

I don't even see the point of using force-fields and aimbots when most people just sit around past 100k gathering dust.

i remember one time where i was just coming out of a mining adventure, had 40 diamonds because i walked through a whole mineshaft and adjacent caves. i come out, i see a dude like 30 meters away building a shack, he turns towards me, i panic and dc, only come back the other day

Logging out is a pretty shitty idea... first thing I would have done is covered the spot you logged out at in lava.

We were raided by a group of guys that had been at some other base before getting to us- We knew that since we had Nodus. We saw how they made a chest and hid alot of items in it before readying up. They had much better equipment and naturally we'd be dead.
Thing is- Since we had Nodus we were prepared. We got our stuff and hid it, then we went out to face them. They all DCed out of fear when we got close, so we dug huge lava pits where they DCed and laughed when they fell down and died upon relog.
Logging out: Pretty dumb idea.

Actually, PVP is kind of ruined in 2b2t with all the hacking. I am one of 'those' players that are a significant distance out from spawn. Not as far as 100k, but a significant amount. While it is true that it's basically single player, I do it for two reasons:
1. If I ever get bored of just building, I can travel back to spawn and steal some supplies for some free stuff/building materials.
2. I build structures above ground. Although it is safer in single player, no one gets to appreciate your work. The best thing about 2b2t is knowing that eventually, yes, I'm going to get bored of playing on this server. But when that happens, eventually somebody will stumble on what I've built and appreciate it. As opposed to single player, where once I get bored with a server it's gone forever. Imagine if more people played 'singleplayer' while logged into 2b2t. There would be so much more ruins to explore.

Sometimes I kill myself on my alt and go back to spawn. It's beautiful in its own way, and it's fun as hell attempting to live there.

Would hause consider adding combat tag or some other pvp log prevention plugin?
