i could say it looks like something else, but then again its just an AO map with some self chosen base colors, so its gonna look that way :p

yes, yes it does, well, the phong part, the smoothing is goin to stay that way, if ii change it, im going to have to add one of those metal rims so that the top and bottom of the case dont look like one piece, and i dont like the metal rims, and i dont think it would fit. chances are we are going to do a custom phongmask for it,and at the moment i just copied the engineer default vmt into my own

In what ways can I claim this to be mine? Because I failed to get in contact with the artist but he said it would be for anybody to model
Second, how am I supposed to unwrap the head? never had such complex models to unwrap
Anybody care to UV/texture this would be nice too
I can't rig it either, still also looking for a rigger on some (all) of my other models
I feel really disabled for not knowing how to do anything but modelling/texturing (at a mediocre degree)...

Valve commented on the kringle and told us that they prefer the least bone connection possible for the items. The guy said it helps the "load" that its rigged to less bones and less weight to through. (correct me there if i'm wrong) So having the scarf (which i presume would be rigged at the spine) and shoes as one item, valve still needs to have a bunch of bones in between (spine 1,2,3, pelvis, hips, knee, foot) that would somehow have an effect in the game. For this reason that the kringle didnt have the leg fur that it originally had.
