Made it to level 6 today by fighting like a hardcore mofo :D
This is going to be such a mess when we are all trying to apply for citizenship in a month, which will leave many people frustrated, and eventually quit because they are pending.
Don't you think Korea will be kind of suspicious about the mass amount of people migrating to the country?
I think the battle of Smalad Scania is going to be won by Lithuania. Then there's only one region away from the capital of Sweden.
Man, my job is really good. I get 11.33 LTL with level 2 economy level.
Care to help your fellow man and give a recommendation to this illustrious workplace?
Signed up as trafficman, got to level 5 in the first day.
The employer name is "WP Kopalnia q2." They make q2 iron.
hmm, after looking... it looks like the owner is some polish guy in a godly MU.

DVH said he is working on talking to Korea's leadership somehow so hopefully that won't be a problem by then.
What I'm more concerned about is establishing a strong base. From glancing over the old eRepublik thread it seemed FP had already started off with a successful company. Right now, we don't have that luxury. So what I'd like is for most of us to come to a consensus on what to do, specifically, on getting our own company and maybe a Military Unit.
Warning: The following was typed at 1 in the morning. If you have trouble understanding, it's my fault.
Right now, all South Korean companies (as in companies owned by South Korean citizens) make Guns and Defense Systems.
For a best case scenario there would need to be four Companies. A FP Grain, FP Food, FP Diamonds, and FP Gifts company.
The slaves in the Grain and Diamond companies will produce raw materials which the Food and Gift companies will buy, and then their slaves will create the actual products consumable and demanded by the entire game community.
At first it will be just Facepunchers buying Facepunch products in a giant circlejerk of money. As other people not affiliated with us buy our products, our wealth (and therefore our ability to get better equipment) shall increase.
How will this money get there in the first place? Simple.
Lithuanian money is valuable right now. Only $20 of it will get you a bar of Gold.
Using this easy gold, we can start up new companies much more easily than if we used Korean money.
You'd have to spend $60 Korean to get 1 bar of gold, yet selling the bar will get you $28 Korean.
So the cycle goes like this
20LIT > 1G > 28KOR
20LIT < 1G < 60KOR
TL;DR
Facepunch companies will abuse us 1920's style to create ultra cheap goods which we (and other Koreans) can then use to fight more to get more xp.
The money will get there by exploiting the booming economy of Lithuania to convert their money to Gold to Korean money.
Something that needs to be considered is that companies cannot be moved. We need to ideally start one in SK with a large amount of capital or start one in Lithuania and sell it when we're more coordinated.
Yeah that was the main benefit we had going for us last time, is that we had a core of seasoned veterans with high levels and a solid bank of gold. That is what allowed us to be so successful economically. Then we also had myself and monkey11 and a small few others who were able to befriend the eSK leaders and gain citizenship, and because they trusted us, we were able to grant some citizenship.
The other thing was that the majority of all our members started up in eSK, so we didnt have to worry about them getting citizenship, because they had it naturally.
Ok, read my post 3 posts up. What do you think?
It's pretty much things that have already been said but it's nice to group it back together in one spot.
These pay-cuts are killing me.. My family will starve to death in the summer!
Once the initial gold rush of the level 7's are over, we'll still probably need more to make the other companies and since a lot of us are on board with working for peanuts, there's no way they can fail.
Edited:
But you're working for peanuts. Tell those allergic whiners to suck it up.

DVH: You said you were going to be talking to the Korean leadership?
Have you read this yet? http://e-sim.org/article.html?id=23446
It might help you in being more persuasive.
If the Korean government refuses our coming in 30 days time, it'll mess up our plans bigtime.
No pressure.
But when a lot of the old germans tried to go to Korea, in eRepublic, it didnt matter that Facepunch was loved by the community, there is a limited number of passes per month, and so not everyone is going to get in right away.
Edited:
Like I said, I'd highly recommend Abdul for the job if he's willing to do it (and if he goes by that name in e-sim). He ran the business before and it went beautifully. However a military unit Im going to vote "nay" because when we're trying to come across as a friendly ally to help Korea, toting guns is not necessarily the best image. I am just confused what reason we have to start in Lithuania, and not be born directly in Korea? The reason we used czech was because firstly there were no immigration laws, when we were ready to move, we just all moved, swarming the country, and because it was a military action, and we wanted that element of surprise.
Give me a couple of hours, it's still morning and my iPod can't handle Esim well.
And regarding that plan, I'm still thinking about the details.
That doesnt look right...
Edited:
Basically this. In eSK I was so incredibly loaded you have no idea. I could have funded the better half of a war on my own. And we need to make diplomatic contact with eSK as soon as possible, because the more warning, the better. And before anyone else joins in Lithuania, and becomes a citizenship burden down the line, I think someone needs to take a hard look at our game plan.
And also, I think it is crucially important to name everything we do as an operation, somehow I think it makes the game more fun, and keeps everyone better up to date.
The other thing was that the majority of all our members started up in eSK, so we didnt have to worry about them getting citizenship, because they had it naturally.
That'll be a good month for them.
Also who is leading this, DVH, Scientist2, Hidole555? As much as I love how many people are involved, for this initial communication, we need a strong figurehead, leader sort of position, so that we can easily communicate with the SKers.
Edited:
We can, and should use that to our advantage.
The main reason is that we have nothing right now. If we all just plopped into South Korea, we'd be a group with little in a country with little. It'll be much faster and profitable by leeching off of the success of Lithuania and switching over to South Korea when we're ready.
Edited:
Well, it is right.
1 gold bar sells for $20 Lithuanian.
$1 Lithuanian sells for .05 gold bar = $20 Lithuanian sells for 1 gold bar
Eh. I'll just stick to Greece for now, can't be arsed with applying for citizenship.
From my point of view, you and Abdul are veterans with experience. So your help will be essential. DVH seems to be taking the role of FP-SK relations (for lack of a better term), Scientist2 will be receiving all the gold so he'll probably end up running the FP companies unless he chooses someone else, and I like to view myself as some sort of planner or organizer whose purpose is to retain FP interest and the health of our operation.
I don't really want to say there is one central leader since some sense of agreement should be met on things so we don't do anything wrong.
By going through the mass emigration process, a LOT of players will get bored, and drop out. We would be a more united force if we start in Korea, and while Korea is small, and not all too wealthy right now, a FP baby boom would be the best thing for their economy. This way less people will make it to Korea, and we are actually minimizing how much we are able to do.
And the conversion rate being that close to equal both ways is ridiculous, but apparently it is true. Very strange.
Edited:
Also, I am going to reestablish Sunocracy once we reach Korea.
Edited:
And while I think that all sounds good, I think we need to kick up the organization a notch, and Ill write more on this tomorrow.
I would think that if they were able to play for the 30 days before Citizenship change, they wouldn't get bored waiting on the Korean gov't.
But you're probably right. With people in Lithuania AND South Korea, we'll make the money and gold needed for our companies AND get enough of a presence to get our people Citizenship easier. I'll direct any newcomers to head only to South Korea for now. The remaining people in Lithuania, myself included, shall keep on training and fighting until either the FP companies are set up and we can join them and use the money to buy Korean goods, or we reach a level where it is a better choice to convert our money to Gold to increase Korean cash flow.
?
Well when we first moved to Korea, I had like literally 500 people use my referral link, and then because of the terrible traitor previous leader, most of them were waiting on citizenship, and most played for a month, but that number quickly dwindled down to just a handful.
Sunocracy was the religion which we started in Korea, and was the foundation for creating a culture and society.
If my research serves me right, that Korea was a puppet. We don't have that problem here.
Still, I'll add a line to my post on Page 1 directing newcomers to head to South Korea.
Alright then.
Not sure how the Koreans will react when we walk in waving some pretend Religion they've never heard of.
Its an alternate society, why not?
Go for it then. If it keeps people together more power to you.
"I'm from the FP thread so yeah, accept me. Because I'm that cool.
posted 1 day ago"
are you serious? come on guys; let's not let them find this thread because we mention the forums..
I sent a message to that guy but he hasn't responded yet.
Signed up as Murkat
by the way; my plot is to fuck over the lithiuam's ecomney. i'm not in as soren; and i won't be telling you what i'm in as until it's over and done with.
Fine with me but what are your motives? Do you want to topple Lithuania?
Edited:
About the leadership.. I have thought about this and i feel that we need a group of ministers who all have their own responsibility. The idea of a total president sounds nice but will be too much to handle for anyone.
Edited:
And as said before, it would really help if someone could backdoor into korea's government to let FP'ers in.
Edited:
Or we will have to persuade them.. Show them the facts. They are a small country and they really need help.
I won´t be the leader of everything, but I'll try to keep the current Koreans friendly to us. That means that I'll be mostly trying to convince the Koreans that they need us.
But we need a leader, backed up by a core of ministers/advisors/whatevers.
I will send my conversation to at least Scientist and hidole.
I understand what you mean. However, should we just give this title up for grabs? One slip and we're fucked.
Edited:
We will probably need the following:
*A president
*Diplomatic relations
*Leader of the army/Minister of defense (probably later)
*Head of intel (watching other nations progress and political progress)
*?head of treasury?
*Head of construction
*and maybe a head of the companies? Someone who advices people what company's are needed and where they would be profitable?
And not to forget one or two advisors for every head.
Edited:
Please do. I'm very interested!
And that's why I don't directly address the prez for now.
Edited:
Actually, I think diplo and intel are so close together that we can safely assign them to one person, although we need 3 advisors for him then.
Added a motivational video to the OP.
Edited:
Holy shit.. I guess someone took it upon themselves to make South Korea a totalitary state huh?
I propose our "infiltration" be called Operation: Babyboom
Ah shit, no lithuanians? Well, either we can redo a few days or weeks of progress, or select a different country.
If only this game had assassination.
Edited:
Oh, and that vid in the Op is blocked in Amurricah. I've heard the song before, tho.
