Turning off the soft lock and increasing the sensitivity has helped a lot. The game really starts to pick up once you get acquainted with the controls. It's still very frustrating though. The AI has laser aim and reflexes faster than a cheetah. Also the checkpoints can be far between each other, resulting in a few "I'm sick of this scene and just want to move on" scenarios.

Jump off a non-lethal high ledge like in the club sequence, they can't touch you when you soar.

Yes, all this has done is split Facpunchers and their gameplay stats apart.

I believe someone said that everyone should join the FP crew, but searching for crew mates to play with on consoles should probably be done through the FPC crew. I'm in both crews myself.

I'm on Disk 2 and so far, no. But there are flashback sequences back to New Jersey, which are neat.

To anyone who has the game, what is dual wielding like? Is it similar to the first two, where you just fire both when you fire, or do you get to shoot left with left trigger, and right with right trigger?

You fire both guns with the right trigger, and both guns have separate ammo counts.

So far I've turned off aim assist in all forms, right now I'd consider the controls hard

And I've read many times in NeoGAF that once you tweak the settings a bit, the controls are perfect. Soooo.. yeah.

Don't believe the hyperbole. Perfect controls would be using a mouse and keyboard with no delay.

I really hope I get it tomorrow. (I'm european so that would be 1 day early)

The PC version comes out 12 days before my exams, so I probably won't get to play too much...

Of course not, I'm not an idiot. I just find it irritating when someone comes and "confirms" something that relies on settings and a bit of skill to suck.

Just beat sp. I enjoyed it, but as a spoiler-free warning:
MY GOD THE LAST LEVEL TAKES FOREVER

The skins for score attack are great, you can play as drunken Max from the trailers or even MP1 Max.

I tried multiplayer but got bored quickly. On top of that, it seems there are only around 1,000 people playing on Live.

This gamre might be good, but apparently not good enough to warrant 10,000 people in front of shops from 00.00 AM. That's why so few people. Plus, the game has been out for only 2 days or so.
