i wish i could play this game online. every time i try to join a multiplayer game i get disconnected.
i forwarded the ports listed here but it doesn't make a difference

The same place you forward your ports.
Just look to see if you have an option to enable uPnP and enable it.

Aw SWEET. I had pre-ordered Max Payne 3 from Gamestop, but didn't get the cemetery DLC when I went to pick it up. I e-mailed Gamestop about it and they got a code for me.

It's not available for purchase with retail versions yet as far as I know.

Just got in a game with Me and a team vs an entire team of Zombie Cowboys, I fucking decimated them, pretty obvious why we beat their asses on the leaderboard

I keep blue screening during the cut-scenes in between chapters. The problem seems to be due to my graphics card (Radeon HD 5850). I've wiped and reinstalled the drivers but I'm still crashing.

HOLY FUCKING SHIT! That Stadium level Was just 1684 flavours of Die Hard / Bruce Willis on Hard. I mean GOD! How many did you two just kill off? It was almost a blood-orgie...

That level is quite tame compared to what happens in the second half of the game.

Thinking about it, it would be cool if Rockstar released a multiplayer map pack consisting of a few redone Max Payne 1 and 2 levels
Like the that fun house from Max Payne 2 with all the cutouts, imagine a bunch of people diving around that

Beat the game today and now I'm replaying it again on old school, I love this campaign.

I'm kind of dissapointed, the single player is a bit TOO easy. I'm close to being done with the single player on Old School and it's like a speed run.
Other than that, holy shit everything about this is good

Just got difficulty and grind achievements left for the SP portion, gonna move on to MP before I take on Hardcore and Old School. Now I can be a total tool in MP, when every single one of my guns can be gold tinted.

So the problem I'm still having is this: My dlc shows up in the marketplace, but hitting download does nothing. As such I am unable to use any of it in the game. The only thing that shows up in part is the gorilla mask. In the loadout section of the customization, it lets me choose which version of the mask to use when I have it in my loadout, yet when I set up a loadout it is not there as an option. Unless I need a higher level for it I'm not sure what to do. None of the classic characters or extra weapons appear at all though.

Just finished the story, was actually really surprised at how well the game ran considering the last R* game I played on PC was GTA 4 and the game play mechanics are steller, loved every second of it
until the end, it was so bloody cliché and kinda of made me think of how they would go from there, if they would at all.

You've gotta rank up to rank 4 first before the stuff shows up initially. I Can't either, i've been sitting here getting an static ip and forwarded my ports but the fucker still gives me the "ALERT CONNECTION" shit. i'm done with the multiplayer for now untill someone finds a solution to this god damn mess.

They need to fix the multiplayer connection stuff on their end. Since I've gotten it, I've been disconnected from servers when my ping was fine everywhere else, de-sync'ed, unable to join with the party I was in half the time, etc etc etc.
NAT type is open, ports forwarded, etc. It's quite aggravating.

I've been playing multiplayer fine today, last night was a mess. Would join a game, play for like a minute and then is just says that everyone dropped from the game

Is there a Multiplayer steam group? I joined the crew, But I have the retail version so I don't know whenever these get togethers are

Every few games in multiplayer I get an issue where I get an infinite loading screen, I don't know if anyone else gets it but it's damn annoying.
