[h2]About a month ago Todarac(creator of the widespread map "gm_minecraft") and me decided to start a quite daring mapping project.[/h2]
And basically right after that, that very evening we built the entire thing on my Minecraft server, Planning out everything to fit the gameplay of a Trouble in Terrorist Town map. Over the next few weeks, we started creating assets in form of 3D models, Smaller pieces of the map, and different textures. We still have a very, very large amount of ideas, and features that we will add, and quite a few we already have working in-game.
Todarac: i have an idea
Todarac: lets make floating islands in minecraft with voxelsniper etc
Todarac: then map it in source
Todarac: make a TTT maP
Todarac: wouldnt be too hard
Todarac: i still have the textures for source
Stinger: oh god that would be
Todarac: normally this "lets turn this giant thing into source engine" is a joke
Todarac: but this is actually possible
Todarac: we can make it over an ocean
Todarac: and in the source map, water at the bottom
Todarac: 3d skybox that extends water forever
Stinger: the only thing is that I'd have to think of a clever way to optimize it
-to-hammer-limits Skybox Size.
-optimized as best as possible for TTT gameplay.
-Custom 3D models and textures.
-Interesting and defining map features
+Custom Particle Effects
+Exploding Enchantment table
+Much, MUCH more.
