Like with the resident evil series there is a lot of games and I don't want to spam the section with threads, also it makes things easier to find being in one place.

I have a few of the FF games extracted FF 10, 10-2, 13, 13-2 ill make release here and update the thread, if You have extracted from any other FF series and want to contribute your models to the thread that would be cool to help people out.
Im still working on 13 and 13-2 so wait a little longer for those.

There seems to be a lot of costumes in this game, all of them are low res though besides the defaults which are in cutscenes.

Nice. We have a few good models from 13, but not much else. Good to see more being ported.

Is it possible to get some of the models from DLC? In particular, Ultros, Typhon, Omega, and Gilgamesh DLCs for 13-2?

I added everything from X-2, also I dont have the DLC files for 13-2 so if anyone wants those they have to provide samples. But if no one has them in the end I guess I can go hunt it down and extract it later on.

im not sure what file type the DLC would be in but the file would be a "white_imgu.x360.Bin" and "filelistu.x360.bin" I would need it from the xbox since the script doesnt work well with the ps3.

the problem with it is there isnt tools for every game, or the older tools were made for XP.

yeah I actually did research on it, and found 3 tools made for XP, one of them is a viewer that can't export from FF 12 I think. the other 2 are for FF 10 which I gave the models to, so if their was a way to get them I would have posted above

Well, that explains why I haven't heard anything about that one model I requested from FF12 not too long ago. I'll see what else I can find, hopefully there's something that can be worked with to help with obtaining those models.

One of the tools (you might have looked into it/used it) allows you to dump a raw dump of character models however it was for xp so I don't know if it will work for vista/7 plus apparently it needs a decent spec computer for it to work since it takes a while to dump it

The program is called FFXII dump btw i'll look to see if I have it on my external since the site that it was hosted on has died...

Thanks for the link, I haven't heard of this tool before, extracting the stuff now, hope noesis or something else supports the file format.
Edit: I remember this program now, the stuff it dumps can only be opened with a viewer made by the same person, but it cant export anything, I tried using game assassin on it but it wouldnt work.

yes, used 3dripper in global monitoring mode^^

So help me god if someone get's any of the Judges from XII I'll love them forever. Here's a reference image. I know that Gabranth is in Dissidia but I've seen that model and it's pretty crappy.

I believe those are pre-rendered animations, not possible to rip anything from them.
