Also the dude should get a new haircut.
I also watched the new Bieber song and holy fuck that music clip is so exagerated to no extend.
school finished forever yayy
Well, that is good. I am not particularly familiar with dubstep and I do not want to have and prejudices. Thanks for the comment.
Skream, Benga, Digital Mystikz (DMZ), Plastician, Rusko.
Belgium has such great artists, tons of creative and awesome bands come from Belgium.
They also have great beer
The best thing is that I did not live far away from it and I went very often to concerts there. Always a great experience, now I live in Austria in Tyrol, it is hard to move around and there is not so much stuff here.
why did wubs like skrillex start getting called dubstep anyway? I didn't even know dubstep was a thing until skrillex
skrillex run through a dubstep generator twice
Because of the mainstream crowd thinking ''hey! that's noisy and Brostep is noisy! Skrillex is the bestest Dubstep ever!''
To cut a long story short, America happened.
You are right, as always. It does not fit to well. Let's say it is uninspiring and the lacks the feeling that I feel for most music that I really like. It just lacks something or maybe it is not my style of music, but I listen to lots of different stuff.
The enjoyment from skrillex imo is a whole new world from enjoying Benga and Burial.
Is it even right to call him dubstep?
And isn't dub a kind of reggae music? Too many genre types to comprehend. :(
Besides today it is so fucking hard to label different music, genres are blent together, different influences all over the place. It gets way to confusing, especially when you talk to someone about it and they instantly flame you when you use the false label. I cannot be arsed to look everything up, especialy considering electronic/techno music.
There are so many subgenres and such, I just use the term electronica/techno.
just say edm
techno is actually a genre and not a blanket term like edm
It's a throwback to the genre's inspiration, which is why it irks me when people call Dubstep ''Dub''.
so you guys heard about the guy in against me, right?
also do you have suggestions of bands with female singers that aren't terrible? i am familiar already with the cranberries, paramore, metric, heart, and some others from the 70s-80s i can't remember.
i need newer music that doesn't suck. metric is my favorite currently.
hang on the box

new test: more bands like the seatbelts?
Already have Regina Spektor, (lol spice girls), Hole, Kaki King (is awesome), and Portishead. But I will look up these other bands, thanks.
Cocteau Twins seconded.
